Thread: Overwatch question.

    Overwatch question.

Overwatch says you may shoot when a stealer "performs an action within your line of sight" and that they "must end the action in line of sight"

Does this mean that you do not get an overwatch action if a stealer moves from a square you cannot see (round a corner) into a square you can see. As they have not performed the action while in line of sight, but have just ended in LoS.
Heres a bloody sig for you!

    You know who you are.

They're performing an action while they move into your line of sight and then ending the action in plain sight. I think you can shoot at them.

Yes you can shoot him. If he rounds the corner into your line of site then the termie on overwatch sees him and takes a shot.

    Re: Overwatch question.

The shot comes AFTER the action, so if he is now in your LOS then you shoot, if he moves out you don't. If a door is closed to block LOS you must shoot the door as specified though.

This allows you a snap shot as a stealer runs across the end of a corridor you are watching. One as he enters view, but not after he leaves it.

For confirmation just look at the first picture on page 14 where a stealer steps into line of sight and must be shot by both overwatch termis.
