TWTs new IG project log

as the title says I have Finally started my IG army just a very few shots to start with of the some of the shadowforge minis mixed in with some catachans to form a duel gender force... I also have a few infinity minis to mix in as well...

ok so some small progress has been made, and some more pics to show where i am going...

1. is a group shot of the first few conversions of my veteran squad armed with shotguns

followed by some closeups of their sergeant, the "Juliana Jones" mini from shadow forge.

last pic is my fave conversion so far, he kind of reminds me of an old GI joe fig called outback.....

the shotguns are from my old necromunda weapons pack (circa 1994?)

A couple more quick progress shots, one shows some more of the SF girls, yet to be undercoated, the second shows the SF missile launcher, all i did is slide the front of an IG one over the end to help it fit in....

Is it just me, or does the paintjob on these guys remind me of the little green plastic army men I used to play with?

I like the mixed gender idea, but I really detest Shadow Forge females, they look so...manly, I guess is the right term.

I love these models. I have seen quite a lot of them on the SF site, but they seemed may too cartooney for my tastes. Apparently I was wrong though! They fit in very well with the Chatachans, looking forward to seeing some more done =)
