Mark of Wulfen - How will you convert yours?

I'm thinking of using some gor bits but am a little stuck for clawed hands. Left hand are easy but right hands are harder to find...perhaps genestealers...

How are you planning on converting yours?

Might try and buy some Wulfen for mine. I'm not a great conversion'ist and need to learn.

Gor heads and arms. Just to show the GH ones are on the cusp of changing before they enter HTH as he is still capable of firing his Bolter outside of it.

I can't believe after spending ages through BitzBox's site I missed the zombie hands, doh!

Your a braver man than me, not sure I'm ready to attempt sculpting open hands yet.

Ahh, cunning...I think Wulfen chaps can have guns so that definitely possible or at least have them holding guns in one hand.

    Cheers guys!

What about Ghoul hands? They seem more claw-like than their zombie brethren.

Something tells me someone could make a reasonable bit of scratch selling werewolf heads and arms.

    Hmm.

Glad to help, when you get to modelling post some pics up for us to see/critique etc. Green stuff the hair on gor heads as somebody else has suggested would be a good way to go. Then you are really only adding three extra bits (claw hands and heads) to a standard space marine body. Simples!

Re: Mark of Wulfen - How will you convert yours?

I made these back when the 13th company army list came out as I had a wolf lord with motw and could take them as troops:

Using Gor, chaos/space marine, and zombie components with some greenstuff.

I'd probably use ghoul hands instead of zombie ones these days though.

I still have 10 from my 13th Coy army, but if i were to make some new ones, i'd probably use a bit of gs one th heads and maybe catachan arms as as I've got them spare.

I just used all of the bits in the new Wolf boys box that had some fur on it. Fur loin cloths, fur cloak, chest plate with pelt or tails, backpack with tails, shoulder pad with fur, and pick heads that had lots of hair and were yelling.

For weapons I just armed them with CCW in each hand. I figured that was pretty much close enough for the effect.

    Very nice Wulfen there, Hellebore!

As for me, well, I have some Wulfen models laying around, so I'll just use those.
    Thud is the new black!
