good to see you again, bluewolf. not to worry, life's like this. Hope to see your updates soon!
I have a tabletop game system that would probably be pretty easy to turn into a videogame. If you're interested perhaps we can do a collaboration. But that could only work if the game would be free to download, as that is what Chronicles is also about. Anyways, good you're back. Isn't there any way you can use another mini to replace the eaten-by-a-daemon one?

Well I failed to stick to just five colours but I am changing the way I paint. I am now trying to finish four minis in a week starting from yesterday in blocks of four weeks untill I have my three chosen armies complete. They are Legion of Everblight for Hordes, High Elves foe Warhammer Fantasy and Orks for Warhammer 40000. So I am painting four Everblight minis this week High Elves next week Orks the week after and for the last week in the block I will be building and converting the minis for the next block of painting I do hope I can stick to this as I really need to finally finish some of the projects I have started. My final goal is to have 200pts for all warmachine and hordes forces and 2500 pts for each warhammer fantasy/40000 books/codices.
I have some pics of the first four in this block though they are only base coated.
Hope you can kind of see where I am going with this scheme. I am currently wait for my Grandad to finish building my paint stand he is building for me when it is finish I will be going back to the GW range of paints. I have always seemed to be able to paint better with them.
Thanks.

A nice plog indead here as well, quite a lot of variation and great painting/modelling. I like the regular desk updates to show what is going on.
Don't blame the puppy, you want it the hard way and you know it. Besides nice and random battle damage (after minor green stuffing), feed him more I say.
I can feel with you on the speed thing (this year: 12 miniatures painted/ 146 added so far), I tried a few things myself. It went wrong after painting too many night goblins. Now I can only focus on something for a short time. That would probably be why skirmish games work better currently. It is nice to finish something and you get to paint/base lot's of different things.
I tried the (5) models a week last year and got 20 more night goblins done before giving up. Maybe if I tried the switching, I only () have three warhammer armies, but could rotate. My hopes for this year are with the "Tales of ...", they served me well so far and fantasy painters is my next try. Just need to decide on what to paint and build it beforehand.
I do love large armies so I keep going at it. Maybe it is because I remember a time with units of 20 being the large ones, would have painted at least two armies of those just with night goblins alone (only 190+ finished). But looking at them now I want to redo them before I am through, redo as in add rust, checkers, dust, matt varnish and a bit to the bases. That put's me off as well.
Did you try a tale?
EDIT: The buying is basically due to finecast panic buying to complete the things I want in metal and preparing for the Tale of Skirmish Game Painters. So not as bad as it sounds, I still have a decade worth of models in boxes though.

Good luck with the painting plan! I've been trying to keep up with painting 4 models a week this year. I was doing all right up until the exams Im doing at the moment, but I hope to get back to it next week! The plan to rotate and do models from a different army each week is a good plan to keep things nice and varied, although dont get discouraged if it takes a long time to get a unit finished this way. Hide all your other models out of sight so that you only think about the 4 you are painting, each block of 4 you finish should feel like a success! You could try keeping the finished ones out on display so that you can watch your painted collection grow as you paint. That could be encouraging. Just keep at it! I expect regular updates from you from now on!

I am interested to see how the Everblight stuff proceeds.
I am curious to see how your planned approach to painting in blocks works out - best of luck with that.![]()
Sorry to hear you've been unwell. Hope you get well soon.
Those Everblight critters are looking pretty good!
