    Cool My Ulthwé Eldar log

Hello all! Here are some photos of my Ulthwé Eldar army. The vehicles are still works-in-progress, but the bulk of my infantry is (mostly) complete.

I apologize for the graininess of these pictures-- they were taken using my cell phone camera...

Wow. Thats a nice army that you've converted and painted Starchild.

I've been thinking of doing some HB head swaps too, but for me its RT heads to go on 4th ed bodies, as all my RT banshees have the same pose and I don't like the helmets of the 4th ed ones much. What's been holding me back is the thought of dealing with their 'manes' - I like the solution that you've come up with.

    A couple of questions,
    1) can we see some more close ups?
    2) what parts did you use to make that converted grav tank (wave serpent?)?

Luckily, now that I have access to a light box and a good camera, I'll be posting lots of close-ups in the near future.

The Wave Serpent is kit-bashed with a Star Wars Cloud Car toy. I wanted my Serpents to actually look reptilian as opposed to avian. (The current GW kit leaves a bit to be desired in that regard.)

They look really good, the Dire Avengers with the matching banners really stand out, as does that crazy Banshee hair!! Thats a mad idea, but it looks really good! Great stuff.

Very different, and as such refreshing.

There are a lot of things I like within your army, and the things I'm not too fond of I still cannot do anything else but like, because they add personality to your army. Your mix between editions on the models (especially the 1st ed. Farseer helmet - a must!) goes to mark your collection as truly yours.

All in all, a fine example of a lot of things, and hopefully a long, content-filled log of great things yet to come.

Aye, in the works I have two squads of Pathfinders wearing leopard skins; one squad is completely converted with head swaps... coming soon!
