I know that these are not TERRIBLY difficult to make (I've made some myself before) I know the time and effort it takes to get them just right.

This is such a good collection of resources - modular? Sorted. Easy storage? Sorted. Cheap to produce/reproduce? sorted! All good stuff!

    Hi Tommygun..

Love these models you are making.... Just an idea.. could you do a version of your megacorps building but with Gothic arched windows?

And perhaps an arched monumental entrance?

Would love to see what you come up with.. as these are brilliant so far

    Best wishes,

    carl

I'll see what kind of textures I have.
You may have to test build it, as I have a few other projects in the works.

I like the lunar module - the ramp alone is fantastic. BTW, I used to have dining room chairs exactly like yours.

I love the office building(s)! The Umbrella Corp. logo is nice touch, too. Thanks again for doing all of the hard work and letting the rest of us reap the benefits.

    Hi Tommygun..

That looks fantastic.. I WILL download this and try to put a test set together over the next couple of weeks..

May I ask what gramm/weight of paper/card do you reccomend printing it out on to aid modelling in..

    Many thanks for this,

    Best wishes,

Re: Tommygun does what with paper?

I use 110Lb (199 gsm) paper for my buildings and I reinforce the largest ones with 22pt (0.5mm thick) chipboard.
Chipboard is that grayish looking thick paper at the back of note pads.
Here is a picture of it. It's a bit hard to find, but Ebbles carries it.

I don't understand the roofs on the gothic one.

I'm new to this paper modelling ...

Also, using the 110 lb paper keeps the warping down? I keep having issues with that

Re: Tommygun does what with paper?

The thicker 110lb paper will help with warping as does using the chipboard too on the larger buildings.

I don't have much in the way of assembly pictures.
Some of the Gothic buildings roofs are in two pieces.
This was because the roof was too big to fit on one sheet of paper.
    Build in this order:

    1) Join the the part 1 and part 2 Roof halves together.
    2) Fold the roof flaps at the edges upward at a 90 degree angle.
    3) Glue the walls together.
    4) Fold the flaps on the top of the wall downward 180 degrees.
    5) Slide roof into building with the roof flaps upward.
    6) The wall flaps will overlap and be on top of the roof flaps.
    7) Add glue to the wall flap and clamp down.

Re: Tommygun does what with paper?

    Thanks, I appreciate it

    Time to get thicker paper

I also wanted to add that I like the way you do the roofs on your modern buildings. It really helps keep the corners square. Card models with pitched roofs have a tendency to not remain true unless you brace the corners.

These look great, have the look of a modern roof, and also keep the model square. Thanks, again.

I have to say these look incredible!

I very much like the computer game references - the Silent Hill drinks machine and the Umbrella Co building.

@BaloOrk: There's a copy/print shop near where I live that I can email files to. They'll print them up in whatever quantities I order, and they have a variety of paper stock to choose from. It saves wear and tear on my own printer, etc.

If you dig around a bit, you might be able to find something similar.

I put this here because this vehicle doubles as a terrain pieces.
It's a Moon Hopper that carries modular containers that can be built into a small Base.
The pdf for the model is below.
