I am always impressed sir. I think I will have to pick up a brush again.

You reminded me of your army when you posted on my thread. I have to say that when I once painted some Blood Angels miniatures I took inspiration from your beautiful models. Tremendous good work !
nice work on the stormraven...they are a pain to paint i know..but in the end its worth it i'd say..
also on reading back through your thread i found out you are also cameraman/ video editor...and id like to say cheers on that...for having chosen a fine field to work in...haha![]()

that means a lot coming from you. your dark angels are seriously amazing. i hope the new codex favors you well.
yes man. its been a great industry to work it. it always changes and i have gotten to travel a ton. i used to work 50% from home, which was why i could afford so much time to update this log, but for the past nine months i have been onsite doing post work. my painting time has seriously shrunk from ~3 hours a day to a mere 1 hour.... maybe 2...
What type of stuff do you mostly shoot? Your Black Templar log was part of the motivation to get some new terrain done for some photos.

Truely inspirational thread and I may be borrowing your red recipe for when I do my Heresy Era Blood Angels (collecting the FW kits atm).

besides its great portfolio work.. and thanks for the compliment...i love your log too...i hope you can still find some time to paint in the weekends or so...
Ooh, the Stormraven's turning out great! As usual.

I know their tools. thats a really good client. their name on your resume will lend you a lot of credibility. I did work for Puma early on in my career and it really opened up doors.

I played a few games against 7150 today. Had a really good time. I was motivated before the game and am motivated more since. I have been meaning to take some photos of our games in action but have forgotten my camera. I will make sure to bring it to the next one. My Realm of Battle is painted and the terrain is starting to shape up.
I finally started Captain Aphael. He just needs a little clean up and some basing.
DC Dread WIP - This guy was a ton of fun against orks.

Storm Raven - I need to get my second raven painted. I want to try using two ravens instead of a single one and a landraider.

While your BAs are amazing as always I really like those jungle terrain pieces you got there. More pics ? Are these Pegasus' palm trees?
Woah...that captain is really cool...i had no idea you could do that to the model....very nice job...the dread is coming along nicely too.. I like the damage you painted on there...
and i know its fun to fight orks with those big guys...in general orks are fun....specially when you get to kill them by masses..
i love the jungle stuff...you dont see that so often...really nice....and im curious to see how the games day mini will come out...
And about work related stuff still...puma is also a big client indeed...thats very impressive...
well if you were ever in need of a hand on the other side of the ocean im always up for it....

You've been busy! Your jungle looks like it'll be fun to play games with.

The jungle terrain looks amazing, makes me really want to play on your board.
Great to see your 'raven up as I'm just starting to put mine together. Biggest kit I think I've ever made, and first time I've worked with resin as well (other than a FW Dread arm, but that's very basic). Looking at yours for some ideas on how it goes together ;-). Did you magnetize any of yours? I was planning to put some on the wings for storage, and probably on the doors and nose so I can swap the weapons.
You mean making to my subscription folder?
Woah !![]()
Other thing I forgot to mention, you'll be responsible for me buying Masters of the Chapter when I finally pick up a brush again. The poor paintjob had always had me consider they were ugly minis, but you just proved otherwise.
<insert witty sig here>
Looking good! Wish we had those trees yesterday. Nice timing on the new captain, Dante may need to rest a few games.![]()
lovely work fella. as always the fruits of your labours are splendid.
