I'm sort of sad, mainly for people who are die-hard beast fans, even a well written army book will be little consolation as even the old minos weren't much to look at.

Then you just buy Minos from somewhere else. GW is NOT the only game in town.

I'm far more concerned about how the army plays than I am the miniatures anyway. A good painter can make even horrid miniatures (which I don't think these are), look good. A well written Army book is far, far more important IMO.

The more and more I look at those minos. The more I like them lol.

I guess with a slightly more subtle colour scheme they would look better. And if painted brown would look hairier.

(I still think the feet are poor though)

The new Bestigors look like solid sculpts, but their armor is a little too black orcy for my tastes.

Could be part of the new Background. Perhaps their armour is made by Chaos Dwarfs, in a similar style to the armour they made for Blorcs?

That's always a sign that the sculpting etc. is "top notch" a "shape" at the end of his arm may "be a drum" well done

WHAT IN SWEET HELL! The pumbagor is the antithesis of quality.

I don't think the Minos are horrible per say, but the feet bother me too much, the Bestigors are highly uninspired and the old metals are much better imo, Gors/Ungors yea new not significantly better looking then old. Bottom line is no release here is completely satisfying and considering GW prices in general if they expect me to buy I need to be completely satisfied. So no Beast men this time around I guess the book cannot save them.

Really? Thats, just. Wow, words fail me here, they really do. I was willing to accept the minos, but this is just....just.

It looks like GW stepped back in time, back to when the first beastmen were ever sculpted, and nicked all the designs and models of one of thier test beast-spawn.

The only difference I can see is Hastings spent a bit longer colouring his one. lol

The negative comments about the pumbagor prior to showing this pic made my expectations so low that the model actually is better than I expected... but still bad.

The body is probably ok but the tail, face, spikes and haircut just look stupid, as far as one can tell from the pic. Oh, and the overall pose and "feel" of the model is not that epic.

Now to decide: Which one is the biggest fail, roidcows or pumbagor? =)
