I'm liking the machine wraith really, only thing I dislike is the fact there is only a tiny part of the model to glue to the base.
    My common sense is tingling!

More books like Wrath and Domination this year. The expansions for both games next year.

Meh, to the Rifleman, and the rest we've seen before. I have to say, the Cygnaran plastic lights are really growing on me.

    Here are the pics, anyway

Couldn't figure out how to get the pics up. After putting together both the Charger and the Repenter, I much prefer the Protectorate light jacks at this point. And, model wise, the Rifleman isn't too bad, at least I don't think so.

Oh, the Rifleman isn't bad, he just doesn't excite me is all.

They put up the official Destor Thane as well. As expected, he has a cape.

Aside from the whole "It looks like a normal Destor too much" part, I do really like the model. Personally a cool helmet might have gone a bit to stand him out beyond a cape.

    Heh, I wouldn't call that a cape...

I still don't like the plastic cygnar jacks... I seen them in the flesh and they are no better than the pics. The lights are too big, the heavys are too plain. The menoth plastics are much better...

The rifleman is good, I like the starfish on the barrel.

I really don't mind the Cygnar plastic lights, I just can't figure out when you'd need two lancers or two chargers if you'd bought the battlebox.

    Half-cape? Napkin?

I don't care a ton for Cygnaran heavies, but I like the "oversized" lights. There's something about them that strikes me as cool, but, as you hinted at, the Protectorate plastics are far cooler. I will say that Protectorate plastic lights come in a ridiculous number of pieces.

Two lancers? Caine2's original Theme List?

I honestly can't think of any time I've heard of "Charger spam" either. It's a fun little 'jack, IMO, but nothing to really write home about in light of other options - plus you really get tempted to give that thing 3 focus to get full use of its abilities.

But hey, at least it looks cool

The Cygnar plastic lights are allright in my book. The size increase fits well with other Warmachine/Hordes minis as the originals were getting to look a bit puny. The heavies, on the other hand, look like crap IMO. The re-design of especially the heads isn't very good, and the sculpting of their fists when gripping weapons are atrociously bad. The Ironclad in particular is horrendous, the way it holds the Quake Hammer look like a bad sculpt from the eighties

pNemo could theoretically use two Lancers. The old man more than any other caster desperately need to put distance between him and the enemy, and more vectors for lightning death is always welcome

Oh, and if I hear anyone complain even one tiny bit about light warjacks in any form or shape from the original factions, I am going to find you and beat you repeatedly with a Retribution Faction Book!

I can loan you mine for that and I'll even throw in a Mercenary book still wondering what Plastic is.

Two lancers - being mean with PHaley or either Nemo.

    Judgement Day <3

    http://privateerpress.com/community/...ider-2-11-2011

Render for the Vessel - none too shabby, and they actually tell us what's left to do as opposed to just labeling it a WIP (in this case, filigree and the "crew").

I have to say, I really like how tall it seems. Gives it a bit of a monolithic quality. This one's shaping up to be my favorite of the 5, with the Ret's and Cygnar's in a close contest for second. I don't care for the Wraith Engine, and I'm not sure how the Khador wagon's going to look in my color scheme, so I'm hesitant...

Anyway, we've seen a decent glimpse at all 5 now - bring on some more unit resculpts!

It's totally awesome! You play Khador as well Loveless? What factions do you play altogether?

Legion, Protectorate, Khador, and due to a series of bizarre events I also have a fledgling Skorne army.

I tend to buy all the characters of a given faction to paint, but really only use a handful of them on the table.

I am not conviced by the mentho engine yet. Looks more or less like a giant weelchair with some smokestacks and spikes to me.
