Didn't look like a Skorne beast to me either.

It looks like Everblight because of the colour of the material it's been sculpted in. The armour definitely looks 'Skornate' (?) and the face is far more like a Skorne beast than the Everblight stuff. All the Everblight beasts have faces like 4th Ed. 40k Nids, not like that at all.

The winged beast looks nice. And it has eyes so it cannot be a legion one, they are all blind, right?

According to the picture its called an archidon, just tried to save the pic. I was suprised to see it as a Skorne model, maybe they will be giving each faction a flying model at some point



Just been looking around a few online shops in relation to the Boneswarm model, places like Maelstrom have got it up for £11.65 allthough they have the same model in the Iron Kingdoms section for £5.40 each, i managed to snag my 2 a couple of weeks ago so if anyone is wanting them i would get it at the lower price now.

There are some shots for comparison in this thread - its no bigger than the boneswarm, and smaller than the wrastler. It doesn't even look big enough to eat a man-sized model.

I wish they had went with a half-submerged Head in one big base, and then smaller bases each sporting a big tentacle sprouting out. I think that would have gave it a nice sense of size without it actually needing to be gigantic.

Also, for those so inclined, the entire dominination book has been spoiled on several less-than-reputable sites out there. If one were so inclined, they could track it down. There was a few nice suprises in there, I'll tell you that!

(And an unpleasant one, since farrow only get the one new beast, not to mention it lacks the 'war-hog' tag, so Dr.A has to pay full price for it D: not S&D though...)

That looks surprisingly chunky and clumsy...hopefully it's just the sub-par paint job. I always liked the crab jacks, but there's something off about that one.
