I'll be using the "Classic" Nomad when the upgrade comes out if at all possible. The cannon arm looks great, but the new Nomad chassis just doesn't do a thing for me. If the new arm doesn't fit on the old Nomad... well, there's always the Mariner's cannon with the Defender's head...![]()

Feral Warpwolf, Warpwolf Stalker, Pureblood Warpwolf

Warpwolves are humans that have been transformed into savage beasts well suited for battle. The druids of the Circle Orboros use the vicious feral warpwolves to strike their enemies hard and fast, unleashing them to sow death and discord with tooth and claw. Contrastingly, the white-furred purebloods cut swathes through the enemies of Orboros with measured ferocity and bone-shattering howls. Retaining some portion of their human intellects, the sword-wielding stalkers are stealthy killers that prowl behind enemy lines and strike without warning.

The Feral's face makes me giggle, but I rather like it.
The Stalker is a definite improvement.
The Pureblood...oy. Buy your metals now...though I suppose this version doesn't "suffer" from the weird pubic region...
the feral looks awfull, didnt like it when i saw it in domination the stalkers alright. But i do like the pureblood

Hmm, not sure what you don't like about the Pureblood, loveless. It isn't amazing (I would classify any of these as amazing, really), but it isn't bad. I'm actually a little surprised that the pureblood is in the plastic box, to be honest.
I wonder what the other kits will be.
I'm rather certain that they've mention the Bronzeback titan will be a resin/metal hybrid (and hopefully bigger), so probably just the gladiator, cannoneer and polearm/shield guy from Primal mk ii, which will make an easy swap for Tiberion as an upgrade kit.
Dire Troll Mauler/Blitzer and ... ? Earthborn is fairly different, but the bomb one is rather new to replace.
Legion will obviously be Carnivean, Scythean and Ravagore.
Nice shark, pretty shark.
It's just lackluster compared to the amazing metal Pureblood. It's down to the posing - the plastic kit makes it more apparent that it's just a Feral with headgear.
They have, though the picture looked the same as the current one with a material swap.I'm rather certain that they've mention the Bronzeback titan will be a resin/metal hybrid (and hopefully bigger)
Sensible and likely.so probably just the gladiator, cannoneer and polearm/shield guy from Primal mk ii, which will make an easy swap for Tiberion as an upgrade kit.
It'll be the bomber. It's about the same age as the WW Stalker, Titan Gladiator, Scythean, and Ravagore, the majority of which have been updated/replaced.Dire Troll Mauler/Blitzer and ... ? Earthborn is fairly different, but the bomb one is rather new to replace.
Indeed. They showed them along with Proteus not too long ago.Legion will obviously be Carnivean, Scythean and Ravagore.
With the updating here, what I'm really wondering is if they'll hand out plastic Skinwalkers, since I believe they were supposed to be plastic in the first place. Of course, in my preference, if it's on a 40mm base or larger and isn't a character it should be in plastic/resin anyway...

when are they out?
February's releases are known through various stores and the Circle or Ret stuff isn't in there, so March at the earliest. I don't know if they'll release two plastic kits in the same month though.

damn, i have a slow grow in Jan and i wanted these.
I totally disagree with the sentiments about the Pureblood. The new kit is a HUGE improvement over the comical "OWWW! I stubbed my TOOOOOOOOOOOE!" metal. The new Feral doesn't look like an oversized head on a shaggy sheep dog, and the Warpwolf no longer looks like a PIG. Big improvements all around.

The Pureblood looks like some kind of Werewolf Luchador with that pose. Not sure if that's a bad thing, though.

The more I look at the Feral, the more its head bugs me. It's definitely better than the metal version (which always looked off), but I can't get Little Red Riding Hood out of my mind with that face on the plastic. It's screaming for tiny spectacles and a nightgown.
It has a "cartoon-y" quality to it like the Blackhide does - I think a lot of it is how the eyes are painted, though the head still looks off to me on the rear 3/4 profile.
That said, if/when he shows up in a plastic Circle box, I'll pick him up. The original Warpwolf was the only thing keeping me from getting it.

Speaking of potential plastic warpacks, I have to wonder if they're going to change the contents of any of them. It always bothered me that the Trollbloods didn't have a Heavy. Additionally, I can't imagine PP casting up plastic Shredders (plus I already have far, far more than I need...).
i'm sure they would if the shredders had the harrier and stinger in. box of 4?
Not sure if they'd do that, since they seem intent on doing lights as one-only in a box, not the 3 in 1 kits they could easily do. So that leaves the lessers in an even more ambiguous place.
That said, he was referring to the warpack boxes, which is just Lils, a carni and a bunch of shredders. And I suspect it has something to do with the fact that some of Legion's bigger, awkward stuff like teraphs (though it isn't that big, it had some assembly issues), seraphs and the angelius would benefit from plastic far more than the small stuff like lessers.
Nice shark, pretty shark.
I wonder if Rhul heavies will ever get plasticised and rereleased with Gorten, or if they're simply doomed to "Oh, metal is good enough for those Merc Contracts"?

This. We could do much more with plastic lights than lessers - the issue is that Legion has, what, one Light Warbeast in Primal? Our most modular light - the Nephilim - only exists in our Forces book.
Given that the Rockram, Driller, and Avalancher are all effectively the same chassis (or maybe they actually are - I'm not sure of their stats), I say plastic Rhulic heavies are a safe enough bet. It'll likely take time, though - maybe the next expansion.
