The Power of Stone and Storm
The Circle Orboros is humanity’s most ancient organization, composed of powerful mystics who watch over natural places seeped in ancient power. While few in number, these druids wield boundless power of nature and can call upon savage beasts such as ferocious warpwolves and satyrs that stalk the forest as well as armies of human Wolves of Orboros and inhuman tribes of bloodthirsty Tharn. The most powerful druids can even shape stone into mighty fighting constructs called wolds. Where the Circle walks all should fear to tread, lest the power of Orboros be brought against them.

Learn the secrets of this powerful and ancient organization with Forces of HORDES: Circle Orboros, featuring:

    • Complete faction rules and profiles for using all current Circle Orboros models in HORDES Mk II.
    • New troops to bring to the fight, plus the all-new warlock Cassius the Oathkeeper and his companion solo Wurmwood, Tree of Fate.
    • An in-depth look at the history and structure of the Circle Orboros.
    • A painting and modeling guide to help ready your forces for battle.
    • Circle Orboros Theme Force lists and rules, which allow you to create armies based on specialized forces from the Circle of Orboros.

Unleash the Wrath of Nature on the Foes of Orboros!

I think you can just see him in the top left of the CoB cover.

Zooming in a bit, it looks like the thing in the upper left of the Circle Orboros book is actually the Lord of the Feast.

Re: Forces of Warmachine: Books and New Models

Certainly the Lord of the Feast up there.

I'm kind of "meh" with this cover - probably my least favorite of the big 4, and the Skorne cover has a Titan about to go postal on its own troops

Out of all the 'casters to pick, they went with one who is unlikely to be seen in that form ever again. Poor Baldur. He looks good for a mostly dead guy.

It would also appear that "big" is the theme for the new Hordes 'casters (sans Minions).
    - Rasheth = massive and carried by 3 agonizers
    - Gunnbjorn = massive bazooka
    - Bethayne = complete with light beast Belphagor
    - Cassius = complete with companion solo

got to say i'm highly dissapointed with it i love baldur but i would have thought kruger or morvanna would be on the cover seen as he's nearly dead but his spirits taged on to megalith and i think the wolds look like something from a bad 90's rave

and god those ravagers still look ugly it dos't matter how they paint or draw them i just dont like them

hendy dude you've got better eye sight than me just looks like trees to me mate

    Hakaar the Destroyer.

"In life, the name of Hakaar the Destroyer was synonymous with dealing death. Exalted for his countless mighty deeds, this bloody ancestor once more joins his ruthless people on the battlefield. A terrifying construct fueled by spectral energy, Hakaar wields his twin great swords with terrible skill, drinking in the life energy of those that fall beneath their heavy onyx blades. "

Yeah, I think PP nailed it with the Immortals. It isn't a new concept but the visuals are very well done.

Re: Forces of Warmachine: Books and New Models

Hakaar makes me want to play Skorne...I always did like Zaal anyway, and I think Hakaar is in his tier from what I recall.

Also, what's the deal with PP putting up updates when I'm in a meeting lately? I keep feeling like I'm the last to know today

EDIT: Updated the first post again - if anyone has the Skorne book, let me know if I missed any entries. I also moved the Cygnar stuff out of there because it was getting on my nerves

    Grim Angus Tier.

    http://privateerpressforums.com/show...346#post479346

Not only does it allow Mercs/Minions, it actually requires them for Tier 2.

Sounds relatively interesting - and fitting from what I remember of Troll background (though I would expect Alten with Grissel more than Grim).

The army picture of a Zaal tiered list in the skorne book is stunning. I may very well get one of those lists going, being a pretty good tiered list helps.

Cassius the Oathkeeper & Wurmwood, Tree of Fate

    http://privateerpress.com/hordes/gal...d-tree-of-fate

The enigmatic Circle warlock Cassius the Oathkeeper is bound to serve the ancient Wurmwood, Tree of Fate. Wurmwood passes harsh judgment on all who fall beneath its branches, harvesting their souls to fuel Cassius’ magic. Those who stand against the Circle Orboros face an unpredictable battlefield, as whole forests spring fully-grown from the earth, entrapping enemies within their deadly green depths.

Hot damn. A Circle warlock whose background doesn't bore me to tears...and who has a killer model.

Note...says 2 models in the blister, but we're only seeing Cassius so far. I'll update with Wurmwood when I see it.

    EDIT: Wurmwood! Oh God...I...so...much...awesome...
