Re: Forces of Warmachine: Books and New Models

Bloody Barnabas is an aged gatorman warlock and a veteran of countless
battles. In the wilds of western Immoren, only a gator of surpassing strength and tenacity could hope to reach his level of combat expertise. Barnabas calls upon the great warbeasts of the swamps to combat his foes, and he directs their attacks with cunning precision. Before his hungry children swarm, Barnabas summons a magical black tide to choke the enemies of the congregation, leaving them vulnerable.

I like him. Not the color choice (I'm thinking white robes would look better, with a green-grey shade to them), but the model itself is nice.

In fact, I like him a lot. I could see myself getting him.

Are there some Circle tiers out that I have missed?

Well, I'm gonna go against the grain coz I really don't like the Bloody Barnabus mini. But i don't like any of the Gatormen mini's, and i think they are just a crap conception really.
    Soz, but its my opinion.
I like the cassius model but the tree is.... well, just a tree.
And the circle UA ain't too bad IMO.

Bloody Barnabas is cool. Nicely understated, but with character nonetheless. I like. And I don't even like Gatormen that much in general

    Croak Hunter

    http://privateerpress.com/hordes/gal...s/croak-hunter

Some few anuras, a frog-like race commonly called “croaks” for their distinctive throaty calls, have made their way from the Shattered Spine Islands to chase both prey and adventure. The scouts and explorers known as hunters have developed a strong relationship with the gatormen of the Blindwater Congregation and will not hesitate to take up arms alongside these newfound allies. Croak hunters stalk their enemies from hidden positions before attacking them with spears dipped in deadly mixtures of natural poisons, including the toxins secreted by their own skin.

    Better looking than I expected.

well lets see(based on the sheer amount of turtle shells on him):

he's not got a red/green hat with an M/L on it.
    he's not wearing overalls.
    he doesn't have a moustache.
    he doesn't have a kart/bike.
    no princess to save?

come on, i have to be getting close?

regardless, these new minons releases are good thing as i wan't to start minions and the blindwater congregation sounds awesome!

Re: Forces of Warmachine: Books and New Models

All the Reptile/Amphibian minions that're coming out makes me wanna go over to PPHQ and give them a damned good slap and take away all the Acid that they are obviously prone to taking at these new conception meetings they have.
After that last effort I think I'll take all their Wind-in-the-Willows dvd's too.
Send in the psychiatric helpers with the straight jackets, and sack the guy that came up with this idea.
Please. I'd sooner have to look at more pork/bacon products.

Anything is better than the ridiculous farrow. I'm not saying the Croak Hunter is especially exciting or good, but hell...no more pigs or I'll be the one heading to PPHQ and asking what the heck they're smoking
