Oh Gods... the Exemplar standard bearer looks like he's got huge floppy beagle ears instead of shoulderpads.

Anyone know if there is a Trencher-themed Tier list in the Cygnar book?

There's a couple of Trencher themed lists in there as far as I know. Siege is one.

I think one of the Haleys has the "Gravediggers" tier list that has a fair few trenchers in it.

Well, well, well...what have we here?
    Flamethrowers, huh?
    Ooh, I'm really scared!

Assault Kommando Flame Thrower Weapon Attachment

    http://privateerpress.com/warmachine...pon-attachment

The never ending arms race between nations has led the Khadoran High Kommand to embrace any weapon that may give them an advantage, no matter how inhumane. The flamethrower issued to Kommando squads is the current production model of several generations of prototypes. A huge canister is strapped to the Kommando’s back and feeds the propellant gun he carries in place of his standard carbine. Trenchers have come to fear the Khadoran flamethrowers, concentrating their fire upon those who carry them. The life of an Assault Kommando who takes up the flamethrower may be short, but he can be sure that many of the Motherland’s enemies will die before him.

Also, the Retribution gets another Mage Hunter Assassin model.

Yeah...that's what I want to see more of on the field...Mage Hunter Assassins...

I will have to answer them with salvos of rockets and fire.

    Mage Hunter Assassin Variant

    http://privateerpress.com/warmachine...sassin-variant

Mage hunter assassins are practiced killers and mage hunters with refined skills. Recruitment for this cabal is slow, for their chain blades are tricky and require exceptional reflexes. A skilled assassin can send the blade flying tremendous distances before whipping the chain to bring the weapon to hand for close-quarter fighting.
The alternate sculpt Mage Hunter Assassin provides a dynamic new pose that allows players to differentiate their models on the tabletop.

I love my Mage Hunter Assassin, one shoted Sorscha

The pose is only slightly different than a normal one though, would prefer something more dramatic or different at least.

Agreed. It's an OK mini, but nothing spectacular, epecially when you look at sculpts like the Cryx Warwitch. Will probably get it though, as it's still nice to have 2 different sculpts on the table. Saves med the trouble of chopping up one of them

    Ahoy!

I'm not sure if this was posted before, I did a quick search, but didn't find it.
Rutger Shaws card was included in the last PP mail.

    Front and Back.

He looks interesting. If the flank bonus is cumulative he could get 5 damage dice on a charge.

Re: Forces of Warmachine: Books and New Models

There's a ruling that says it's not cumulative. Flank is the same ability so flank would not stack with flank as it's already in effect. Just two alternative ways of getting it.

Well, it's a shame, but four dice is not bad either.

Re: Forces of Warmachine: Books and New Models

A bit of fuel on the fire for the "Plastic Light 'Jack" stuff, as IIRC it's not been fully confirmed yet:

I've finally gotten my Cygnar book (it took crack teams of Fedex ice-tunnelers over a week to get out of the Snowpocalypse and down into the warmer weather where I am), and looking at the "Our models, let us show you them" section in the back of it, it looks like the chassis for the Firefly, Lancer, Charger, and Sentinel are all EXACTLY the same, and there are also "Classic" pictures for the original sculpts of the Lancer, Charger, and Sentinel, along with the Ironclad-based Heavies that got replaced with the Plastic Kit.

I'd reckon that represents pretty strong evidence that there's going to be a plastic Light Warjack kit for each faction that has options for each 'jack that shares that chassis, just like the awesome Heavy 'jack kits.

Who knows, maybe after that treatment's been done on the other factions, the Retribution light myrmidons will get their very own plastic kit...

Re: Forces of Warmachine: Books and New Models

I'm about 50/50...maybe 60/40 on whether it's going to be singles or kits.

On one side, if it's a plastic light kit for $18.99, that's a ridiculous deal (it's $16.99 for a Lancer right now) for Thorn-sized lights. Given that there are 4 variants of the prime lights, that's a lot of extra bits.

If it's a single light for $18.99 (only bits included to make the option marked) it's still a good deal due to the size increase.

Now, to try and approach this from some level of logic:
    - Given that reducing SKUs is a goal of Privateer's, it seems odd to release 4 new kits instead of 1 (pro-multi-kit).
    - Given that the product is labeled "Firefly Light Warjack Plastic Kit" instead of "Light Warjack Plastic Kit," it's likely that it only makes what's on the box (anti-multi-kit)
    - Privateer has not confirmed this one way or the other (neutral)
    - One online source showed a picture of a plastic Nightwretch with the caption of Ripjaw - this could be either a case of pasting up the wrong picture or another picture from the same kit (neutral)
...and a little help comes in a little glass vial in a gun pressed against her anatomy...

I was under the impression that the Light Warjack kits will be 3 or 4 jacks in one box set, much like the Heavy kits.

Re: Forces of Warmachine: Books and New Models

Warstore, at least, has "TBA" on the release date for the Firefly. It is possible that the stores that have it up have latched onto calling it that because the Firefly's the new 'jack and PP hasn't confirmed yet whether the kit will be able to make all of them or not.

I'm pretty sure that once we have a release date, we'll actually have some degree of certainty as to whether it's going to be one kit or multiple.

Re: Forces of Warmachine: Books and New Models

Actually, it's not a name that the stores came up with - it's the name assigned to the code.
    PIP 31070 Firefly Light Warjack
    PIP 32068 Vigilant Light Warjack
    PIP 34070 Ripjaw Light Warjack

Now, it mentions the chassis it's based on, but it doesn't go into detail about the other designs. Note that this doesn't confirm or deny anything - all we know is that the new plastics are postponed due to some sort of quality/production issue.

    The Dragonfather Calls

From the darkness of their nightmarish isle, the undead legions of Cryx strike forth at the Iron Kingdoms, each battle serving to fuel their unholy factories as necrotechs shape everything that walks, crawls, or slithers out of their dank, macabre workshops. To oppose Cryx is to oppose death itself as legions of undead mechanithralls, ghostly bane thralls, looming black iron helljacks, and skittering bonejacks surge forth at the command of their lich lord masters.

Serve the glorious Dragonfather and bend the power of death to your will with Forces of WARMACHINE: Cryx, featuring:

    • New troops to bring to the fight, plus the all-new warcaster Lich Lord Venethrax.
    • An in-depth look at the history and structure of Cryx’s military.
    • A painting and modeling guide to help you ready your forces for battle.
    • Cryx Theme Force lists and rules, which allow you to create armies based on specialized forces from the nightmare empire of Cryx.

Re: Forces of Warmachine: Books and New Models

Hooray, something to post in this thread!

    Cygnar Stormblade Stormgunner

    http://privateerpress.com/warmachine...de-stormgunner

The signature weapon of Cygnar’s Stormblades, the Storm Glaive is one of the best-known mechanikal weapons in all the Iron Kingdoms. Despite the short ranged electrical discharges that the weapon is capable of firing it is primarily a close combat weapon. This naturally leaves the Stormblades vulnerable to enemy gunfire as they advance to meet their foes in melee. Cygnar’s arcane mechaniks devised the Storm Thrower to both provide storm knights with covering fire and to enhance the accuracy of blasts produced by Storm Glaives.

    Weapon Attachment Blister - $11.99

This is a WA and not a UA, right? I don't remember...I'll edit this once I find out.

I actually really like this...which is weird, since it's Cygnaran

Meh...not that good IMO. There's something wrong with his anatomy - a bit too blocky I think. Besides, I'd hate him anyway since he is Stormblade only WHERE IS MY STORMGUARD ATTACHMENTS?!
