Looks a little top heavy for a light jack, but a very nice model overall. I think it's how slender the mid section is.

The lights are all top-heavy except the bone-chickens and gun-bunnies. The Cankerworm is okay too, obviously.

The Vigilant is the worst of the lights for upper-body mass in my humble opinion.

I think once PP gets a full time sculpting team and moves past commissions/outsourcing the overall quality will go up. They have the in house 2d designers and their painting team is very good, now they just need the sculptors.

There are some extremely gorgous looking infantery models out there.. but unfortunately too many units look like garbage It's not that you can't but that they sometimes won't deliver 10/10 looking miniatures.

Happy they are releasing Exemplars in plastic. They are a nightmare to put together. I'll be picking up a second unit of Errants and 3rd unit of Knights when they are released.

Hope they re-release the Harbinger in resin also. I gave up on my metal one it was so poorly designed.

No Quarter 40 has rules for Black Dragon UA to replace standard IFP UA. There is an upgrade pack (with 12 shields and a banner) and a card coming to the PP store from the 23rd January.

The Khador Black Dragon Iron Fang Pikemen Unit Upgrade is NOT a complete model. The upgrade contains:
    •12 Black Dragon shields
    •1 Black Dragon Banner
•1 Black Dragon UA stat card

Players will need a Khador Iron Fang Pikemen Unit (PIP 33018) and a Khador Iron Fang Pikemen Officer and Standard Bearer Unit Attachment (PIP 33027) in addition to this upgrade.

Particularly as it gives a nice different feel to the IFP. Plus there's been a desire to get Black Dragons into the game proper for a section of the fans for a while.

There has been lobbying for this. I take it as a sign that Privateer likes its fanbase. A unit was requested, and it has been provided.

Nice to see some fan love. People have been talking about the Black Dragon IFP for a loooong time, and this will be easier (and more profitable for PP) than the old green stuff tutorial to get the symbol down.

I wonder if this paves the way for some sort of Amethyst Rose Gun Mage upgrade...

I was getting ready to buy a group of Kayazy Assassins, where I would file down the heads and sculpt hoods to hide their face. However, it would be pretty cool to have the Black Dragon IFP too. If only my experimental Money Tree bore fruit I could have them all, right now!

Ok, so there is a chance for the gunmage journeyman becoming official? Or the tempest deserter rifleman for sea dogs?

I like the colossals more than the Big Machines. But I wish they found a different take on the head portion for the colossals.

    Hmm, interesting. Steam-powered battletech.
What is even more interesting is that the mercs will have a colossus as well.
