Dragged from beneath the hardened ground of the Bloodstone Marches, razor worms are frightening and voracious monsters. The worms are difficult to track as they burrow through solid rock or the tangled roots of dense terrain. Under the direction of skorne warlocks, the razor worms bore through the surface earth of the battlefield, erupting from the ground as a nightmare of hungry teeth and piercing spines. Those they attack are dragged below the earth and consumed whole, their screams cut short by the choking earth.

The escalation of war has provided many windfalls for the kriels. Among these are certain dangerous and explosive chemicals, which though unsuitable for use as gunpowder have been put to other uses. The trollkin have begun arming some of the more cunning dire trolls with barrels of these chemicals to heave at the enemy. The explosions bother the resilient trolls little and wreak terrible damage upon their foes.

The Exemplar is...menoth-like...

The Wyrm is fine. Nice mini and cool concept.

The Blood Hag is not my cup of tea. Reminds me too much of the old butt-ugly Satyxis sculpts.

Personally, I very much like the Seneschal. I'm especially liking what I've been hearing for rule tidbits from the PP forums...looking forward to getting that guy and getting some Errants to field him with.

Sneak Peak: Runebearer Warlock Attachment


Some of the most learned trollkin runescribes choose to accompany their leaders into battle. Carrying the sacred tablets of their kriel, runebearers are capable of amplifying the Dhunian gifts of trollkin warlocks. The glyphs glow as the runebearer speaks them aloud, easing their warlock’s use of their fury-driven prayers and sorcery.

Im new to WM and Hordes. I have seen that the Mercs book is ment to be out in May or June on a thread here. But does this mean its available early?

Nope this month's Forces book is Khador, then Menoth in April, Cryx in May and Mercs is still June. This was a preview of the cover.

The thought is that MacBaine is most closely related to the Steelheads. Seems like he'll work for anyone with no qualm, as long as the coin is good. Now, I don't think he necessarily is a Steelhead, but that seems to be the rough estimation at least.

I just priced out a full unit of Errants + UA + Solo...ugh...my wallet... All these fancy things keep pushing back my desire to pick up a second Hordes battlebox for demo games. At least I'm making headway on the painting finally.

Part of me wants to sympathize with you. The other half feel the temptation to beat a bloated, decaying horse and remind you of the term "Full unit of Kriel Warriors with UA, UW and Fell Caller"
......At least the Exemplar unit is a substantial amount of points...

Bwahaha, I didn't get it at first but finally found it. This is just awesome, if they produce this mini I will make a whole company of it!

Being new to PP and WM I have a question. Are the months for the book releases in the 1st post correct? Or has anything moved?
