quick question though, may i ask about what the 'farrow' are?, i am a bit of a newb (well, i still havnt managed to get a game due to school...), i am guessing that they are a minion force...but i was under the inpression that minions couldnt be a standalone force?

Not yet, but sometime during the life of MK2 Hordes (I'm not sure when, but this year I'm led to believe) they will be. I imagine Gatormen and Farrow will be the primary Minion subfactions, but who knows what else will be there.

Farrow are a race of humanoids which resemble a hybrid between humans and pigs. Culturally, they are quite similar to D&D Orcs albeit with a bit less "evil" and more "whatever it takes to survive" bend to them.
They are not (currently) aligned with any of the IK factions, though they seem to be in a bit of the same situation as the Trollbloods really.

It's not bad, but Sea Dogs without Hawk and especially Rockbottom are a little squashy.
At least they can take Mr. Walls.
I wonder when will we get the Mercenary Thamarite units and solos.

Eh...not bad. He has the pose that Goreshade the Bastard wants. The iron hoof-covers are a unique touch. It's Farrow, though - so I won't be getting him.

I love this mini.
But my gripe, and i agree with Hendybanger, is where the hell are the Legion of Everblight beasts?????????
The concept art of the Scythean was previewed long before Carvers, and still there is no sign of the miniature! So far every faction barring Legion has had more than their fair share of new mini's up on display. PP are biased against Legion.

Like nightmares given form, Stingers swarm among the greater dragonspawn of the Legion. These awful beasts lurk in shallow burrows waiting for hapless victims to approach so they can sink their barbed tails into living flesh.
