I'm not the only one who sees it then.

After seeing the minis I'd start to go the blighted trollkin route with the background and abandon the idea of them being Nyss.

Or I could just ignore the models.

    Scourge of Heresy

    http://privateerpress.com/warmachine...urge-of-heresy

Like its master, High Executioner Servath Reznik, Scourge of Heresy is well equipped to destroy the infidels who stand against the Protectorate of Menoth. With a fiery blade and a blazing flail, Scourge of Heresy brings searing pain and retribution to the enemies of the Protectorate, especially those who dare to unleash profane magic upon Menoth’s chosen.

*Players will need a Protectorate Heavy Plastic Warjack kit (PIP 32061) in addition to the upgrade kit in order to build Scourge of Heresy.

    Nothing we weren't expecting - delicious anti-magic in a non-reach combat 'jack. Still...fun stuff.

EDIT: WarSeer is slow as tar today, huh? Weird.

See, as a Menoth player, I was excited- and then saw that he's a SPD 4, no reach, melee oriented jack with anti-magic abilities. Which means Witch Hound won't ever kick in... What's the term that's always used? Ah, yes- Skornegy. Oh well.

I was wondering why no reach, when he has a HONKING BIG BALL AND CHAIN on one hand. Creative license perhaps ;P

Welcome to Warmachine Mk. II - Where the Blazing Star continues to have no Reach, while the Burning Wrath (Avatar) and Wicked Claws (Nightmare) are Reach weapons. Hooray!

As opposed to Warmachine MK1 where the Nomad didn't have reach.

I think the original suspicison was that he was the second Farrow warlock. However, given his description, he may be the "all-around" Minion warlock who can use whatever he wants. That's just conjecture on my part, so don't quote me on it

He's steampunk Fabulous Bill. I like it a lot better than his art, which was rather lame, IMO.

Team Fortress 2 medic with a bit of steampunk is the vibe I'm getting, I like it, although I don't think he's Warlock material considering his theme and lack of any real dynamics in his model.

A good model, but not a good Warlock I think.

Pimpin'. He seems to have both scientific field and wardrobe similar to Fabious Bile.

Also we known that he will definitely work for Thornfall Alliance and almost certainly won't work for Blindwater. We don't know about any other pacts so far.

I'm not sure if its intentional, but the chins on the Nyss have got bigger, Especially those Grotesques, and now Arkadius has one too. and a syringe full of blight to boot. Just wondering if the mini designers have chin fetishes.

Ah, Fabius Bi-.. I mean, Dr. Arkadius, looks really nice. I agree that the mini is much better than the artwork. In fact, it's a really good little mini.

Needs more Fabius Bile 'pimp cane'.

(we used to call him Fabulous Bile and often mused about converting him with a big floppy purple leopard print hat and snazzy boots).

Well, it looks like its been a busy day at PP today with 3 new mini's on display. I would have posted all the details here if my pc wasn't being so *******' slow.

Needless to say, I don't think the Trollblood, Janissa Stonetide is too bad. at least when compared to the bull snapper, I just don'tlike the gator models, they look anatomically wrong. But the Reeve hunter, IMO, is the model of the day today.

It's not your PC, it's WarSeer. Regardless, I'll see what I can do to get the links and pics up here before I get another "Temporarily Unavailable" message.

    --------------

    Janissa Stonetide

    http://privateerpress.com/hordes/gal...issa-stonetide

As implacable as the stone she commands, runeshaper Janissa Stonetide batters the enemies of the trollbloods by turning the very earth they tread upon against them. At her command, walls of stone spring up to block an enemy advance, the ground rumbles and shifts beneath a foe’s feet, and boulders crash down from the heavens to crush the life from those who stand against the United Kriels.

    Bull Snapper

    http://privateerpress.com/hordes/gal...s/bull-snapper

Powerful gators with an insatiable hunger for human flesh, bull snappers are terrifying monsters that lurk beneath the still surface of swamplands held by the Blindwater Congregation. Surging up from the water, a bull snapper seizes its victim in jaws that close with the force of a colossal bear trap, ensuring its target cannot escape a bloody and painful demise.

    Reeve Hunter

    http://privateerpress.com/hordes/gal...s/reeve-hunter

Alone or leading a group of reeves, the reeve hunter is a stealthy predator who uses the forest and his own mastery of woodlore to remain unseen. When the reeve hunter chooses to attack, it is usually with a volley of well-placed bolts, unleashed in a split second from his double crossbow. However, the reeve hunter is also armed with a deadly cleft sword, which he uses simultaneously with his crossbow, cutting down one enemy in melee and feathering another before his initial target hits the ground

Janissa looks odd to me - I think I'm not used to seeing slim female Trollbloods - but it does show us how good a resculpted Grissel could look. Also, she continues the theme of "Lulz chin" which seems to have cropped up lately

The Snapper confuses me. What the hell is it doing? I can't get its 360 to load, so I really don't know what's going on. I think it's servicable, but I'll need to get my paws on it.

The Reeve Hunter...well, if something every screamed "I have the Quick Work rule!" this is it. Which means, naturally, he won't have it I'm of two minds about the sword - on one hand, it looks like it's broken on the miniature (as in, the miniature is broken, not that it's supposed to be broken), on the other hand it looks suitably worn and old, which I like. That said, I must have seen a model that looks a lot like this guy, because I'm getting weird deja vu from him. Anyone help me out here?

    Warmachine...play like you gotta pair.

Hordes...play like you gotta a chin!

I like the sculpt of the gator. Dynamic, realistic and sharp detailing. My favorite of the three

Janissa...seems odd compared to what has come before in TB. Too slim. They seem to have gone too far out of their way to put 'teh sexah' into trolls. which makes me feel sorry for Skorne as they have no sex leg other than Rakash.

Not wild about the Reeve guy. but he looks functional and no-nonsense which after reflection is how he should be. .

I love the Bullsnapper, very, very awesome model.

Janissa is ok as far as a sculpt goes, her rules are ridiculous though.

The Reeve is pretty cool, but his pose is boring (and he shares it with about 30 other models).

I am getting REALLY annoyed at PP.

The more I see of these Minion Gator folk, the more I want some. The all seem to be made from distilled and crystalized awesome.

I just bought a new van, I can't afford this, dammit!

For the love of the Motherland, I haven't even starting painting my Khador stuff yet!
