    Cheers.

Still havent read the everblight and trollbloods new books yet. I did look through monsternomicon 1 &2 to see what was in there as well.

    Oh yeah and

The fundamental laws of reality twist and shatter beneath the will of Ossyan, Lord Arcanist of House Vyre. Time bends with but a gesture from him, and he can alter his perception to see the convergence of fate. Armed with perfect foresight he is a deadly combatant and battlefield general. Ossyan’s myrmidons and soldiers move with the assurance of destiny as he unleashes House Vyre’s sophisticated armaments upon the enemies of the Retribution.

Ooh, now Ossyan looks pretty cool. Depending on his playstyle, I may have to get some Retribution stuff...well, some more Retribution stuff

Im getting rid of mine, so I can concentrate mainly on my mercs and minions. I do really want to see the Captain Damiano model now as I was unsure of his artwork

I would put bets on the Targ being a Farrow....

If anyone else knows their Star Trek, the Targ was basically an angry spikey boar native to the Klingon homeworld....

    Ozzy looks Sexy!

People are nicknaming him "Mega Man" with that x-buster of an arm. If so, and I kill the Harbinger, do I get focus 10 or cataclysm?

Edit: He apparently controls time. Signs and portents? Temporal Displacement? Oh the possibilities!

If he has SOMETHING that increases ranged damage output, I would cry.

Nothing we haven't seen, but the Storm Strider now has an official entry as opposed to just an Insider peek.

    http://privateerpress.com/warmachine.../storm-strider

Towering above its enemies, the lightning-wreathed Storm Strider moves across the battlefield raining voltaic death upon all who stand against Cygnar. Its lightning cannon is one of the most potent weapons in the Cygnaran arsenal and represents the pinnacle of stormsmith achievement. More devastating still is the Storm Strider's ability to capture and store the energy of enemy attacks, adding this deadly kinetic force to its withering lightning blasts

So you attack it and it gets stronger...seems to me like they stole Exemplar "technology"

Do I need the picture again? Meh, attached again in case you forgot what it looks like.

Yeah, Ossyan is very nice. Though I am a bit surprised at how chunky he is. Compared to both concept art and the other Iosan sculpts, Ossyan is positively beefy. Apparently House Vyre feeds their Arcanists steroids!

Time control sounds conceptually and rules-wise very cool for a RoS warcaster. Though I wouldn't care for ranged support (we have Ravyn for that), I'd much rather see a variety of jack buffs..

Thyra is cool. Very cool. Good concept, fine sculpting and a dynamic pose. Probably have to agree that she is the best Wrath caster until now and IMO one of the best Menite sculpts as well.

Scaverous is fine. The concept is cool and the excution nice. But somehow, it doesn't do much for me. Perhaps it's just that the Cryxian warcaster concepts are getting a little samey IMHO.

Maybe I've got a little too much necronitis going on, but there's only so much you can do with "undead robot" as a theme.

    Blood of Martyrs

    http://privateerpress.com/warmachine...ood-of-martyrs

Fueled by vengeance, Blood of Martyrs demonstrates an insatiable desire to unleash its twin blades upon infidels who spill Menite Blood. Only its mistress, Thyra, Flame of Sorrow, matches Blood of Martyrs’ thirst for retribution, and the two are a scything whirlwind of righteous destruction on the battlefield.

Well after Thyra, this is just so plain. Underwhelming, really.

Also I was thinking. Damios jack will be a full kit or we will see the first plastic merc jack maybe?

Re: Forces of Warmachine: Books and New Models

Wow, Blood of Martyrs really is all kinds of underwhelming. It's an oversized Dervish sans any sense of grace.

It better have some sort of movement shenanigans or it will never be used - looks like 2 non-reach weapons.

The head's kinda cool - very DotF-y. The shoulder banners/tabards are okay - a bit tacked on, though. They just look like a way to up the price of the upgrade kit.

Definitely need to see the rules, as I'm not that excited. Scourge of Heresy looked cool, at least, and is fun (if not always effective) to screw around with.

It is a bit interesting that it's 2 completely new weapons for the chassis.

Really? I quite like it, although that might be the colour scheme... it is amazing, my Menoth are getting a new lick of paint. I'll be turning one of those daggers to be facing downwards in a sweeping movement, should look cool.

    Beefy elves can happen!

He is supposedly a mixed forces caster, which doesn't say much. I think Vyros is actually meant to be more of a jack caster, it feels that way after seeing his new tier finally.

I really just want more damage buffs. We are getting alot of enhanced range and have good RAT overall but damage? Eh. I personally would like Temporal Acceleration!

Re: Forces of Warmachine: Books and New Models

I run Vyros fairly well as a 'jack caster. You just have to time what you're doing VERY carefully to maximize focus and try to get some use from your feat. Having at least one Hydra, powering it up, and using it less as a gun platform and more as an 11.5 inch charging Power Attack (say, throwing something back behind it) works surprisingly well.

I've run him at 35 with one of each heavy (including Discordia) and a Griffon and am 4-0 with that build so far.
