Have just seen this new prieview for a new mercinary solo by the looks of it- Taryn di la Rovissi.

Looking at the cinerators I'm wondering, what is PP plastic like? I have been led to believe that it is harder to glue together that most other plastic models (requiring superglue rather than standard poly cement) but is more durable. Is this true?

I have a plog now! Now with actual painted models
It resembles resin, which has led some people to believe it is resin. In other words, PP plastic is harder and less flexible than GW plastics. As such, it is more durable, but it also snaps easier than softer plastic. PP plastic require superglue, plastic glue barely affects it. They are not harder to glue together if you are used to working with superglue and metal models. The plastic parts are lighter than metal, so they easier hold up their own weight.
Actually, if you compare their ARM stat to that of the Bastions (their closest comparison) you'll find that the Cinerators are a point of ARM higher.
We have a PP Community? When did this happen?!
Yeah, the PP forums have gotten...hostile...lately. The Hordes Field Test was full of venom, and even now there's far too much complaining in their General Discussion.
Ah well - I'm built to weather digital storms![]()
Well, since we are more than 2 regulars, that must mean we are a community
We also have a thread now with more than 2 pages![]()
Gah! I thought it got bad after the WM test, so I don't want to know!
I tend to avoid digital storms since it tends to be contagious - I wasn't the nicest of persons on the old GW Forums![]()

Lovely new khador model.
Operating independently, Khador’s senior Widowmaker marksmen move unobserved across the battlefield. The expert sharpshooters are equipped with the prized Vanar Liberator rifle. The Liberator weighs a full twenty pounds, nearly twice the weight of the standard hunting rifles issued to Widowmaker units. Capable of tearing through plate armor, Liberator rounds are as accurate as they are lethal in the hands of a Widowmaker marksman.

Looks like he's compensating for something
Lovely model, though. Did Khador really need another Widowmaker? [I]Really?/I]
I suppose the answer is "Yes."
EDIT: Also, for anyone new popping into this thread - I do keep the first post updated with links to the releases as we get them.
Well, there were snipers in WWI that used Elephant Guns, and later on, purpose-built large-calibre weapons in order to deal with armoured emplacements.

Note: that's a lens (monacle?), not an eyepatch.
The link doesn't work

The pics in the NQ was small, it looked like a General Chang style eyepatch.
His other eye looks strange though, looks like it's swollen shut...
But I still like the model (and I will convert his monocle into an eyepatch).

Trencher Master Gunner
Master gunners are survivors of countless battles and have earned expertise that makes them some of the most valued artillerists in all of Cygnar. These men and women are versed in all the skills of the artilleryman from barrage firing patterns to the use of defilades. They are experts in the complex commands used to coordinate a battery of field guns. Where other armies make use of artillery as support, the master gunners orchestrate their batteries into precision instruments of war.

Well...it's a trencher, which is about the only thing I like about Cygnar
I'll leave it up to the Swans to make a verdict - I like him well enough.
Well, as a former Cygnar player my only question concerns where the lightning comes in?
I always like the Trencher concept, but the models are hideously ugly, so I never bothered. This one is not bad, but given that he would have to be on the table with godawful minis, I'd pass...

I don't mind that Master Gunner model much. Like Hrafn said though, the differance between the older models and the newer range is pronounced enough to stop people taking them. Mainly why I don't collect cygnar in general. Maybe its just the way they are painted, but those are some really ugly models.
