No I was joking , it just made sence to me that the level 3 Nemo would be a mech of some kind . The only two I've heard are going to level 3 are Asphyxious & Lylith. I also heard that the book will be a mix of Warmachine & Hoardes.

Hmm. I like the original unit better, to be honest. I wonder what the rules are like, and if they'll get this unit on the table again.

I wish they wouldn't put the little whelps on all the trollkin stuff, I hate it when GW does it with snotlings, and I hate it here. At least make them easily removeable.

The rules are up on the PP forums as they were released at Lock and Load. They definitely help boost the unit and make them much more playable.

They won't be a step up from epic casters, they will be just different forms of old epics. Gaspy3, Lylyth3, those are confirmed.

    Fire! And lots of it!

It's not bad from my POV - I'll get it at some point. My biggest issue is that the Vessel seems almost too small/short - the Priest looks a touch awkward there. I'm fond of how the Muscle of Menoth ended up, though - very nice.

I'm putting it in a tie for second with the Storm Strider (maybe 3rd with the Strider second...not sure...I don't play Cygnar, so I'm biased a bit there). The Retribution Engine still wins it for me in terms of looks. Also, I still loathe the Wraith Engine and find it silly - just wanted to say that again

Now, bring on the Hordes Battle Engine models - I want to see that Throne in model-form, dangit!

I think it looks fine enough (for Cryx), but the rules really aren't nearly as tough as the model looks. DEF 10, standard higher-end ARM and 20 damage boxes? Hell even a Khador heavy Shooting at it will hit it on a 6 (on non-Incorporeal turns of course). Heck a team of Widow Makers + Marksman + Kell Bailoch could remove almost half its boxes in one volley.

The one and only time I faced one I plinked a couple points off it with a Destroyer bombard then charged it in my next turn with said Destroyer loaded with 3 Focus = Dead Wraith Engine. Now, my friend was probably playing it wrong from a positioning POV (first game with it) but still, we were both surprised at how fast the "new uber" bit the dust. But then, that's Warmachine isn't it?

I've got hopes for throne (and a bit of fear that it will look utterly silly)
I also want to see if the Skorne Engine is based on the howdah carrying critters in the Witchfire Trilogy.

Hopefully there will be some good Domination previews in this months NQ- I'm excited to see the new warlocks, but I'm hoping for some concept art as well.

I'll wait till I see models. The Wraith engine's model is Eh, compared to how I felt about the Concept art.

I think that pedastal could be a little bigger... with a border. Other than that, It's fantastic! Amazing detail, and that guy pulling it is great, very well done!

Well, thats the thing with all the Battle engines- they are a bit easier to kill than heavy jacks (comparable arm, fewer damage boxes). They can be useful and dangerous, but given that you can't use certain defensive traits to protect them, anyone who's figured out how to trash heavies can trash BEs.

Re: Forces of Warmachine: Books and New Models

Ah, and here's the official entry for the Vessel of Judgement

    http://privateerpress.com/warmachine...l-of-judgement

Each Vessel of Judgment is a reliquary containing the sacred remains of one of the Menite priest kings of old and is capable of the most potent manifestations of Menoth’s power on Caen. The blazing fury of the Creator scourges infidels who venture too close, and the faithful who fall in battle around it can stave off death long enough to strike one last blow for their god.

Also, is it just me or did they update their 360s to have a lot tighter control?
