I like him. But for the look and feal of the army give him barnacles. You don't have to give him a lot but some would keep the theme together quit well.

    Hey guys!

Glad you all like the whale, and Ahab! You are all right, I SHOULD give him barnacles, and they will be done, but first I have an announcement!

The Albionnican 27th Foot Regiment is now up for PRE- ORDER!

In this pack, you will get -

Captain Sharpeton of the 27th Albionnican Foot Regiment -

Sergeant Harley of the 27th Albionnican Foot Regiment

Bernard Brune - Albionnican Military Engineer -

27th Albionnican Foot Regiment Troopers -

    Painted Example -

27th Albionnican Foot Regiment Ogre Trooper -

In addition, if 20 orders are met by the 10th of September 2012, then a FREE additional model will be included in every order - 27th Albionnican Foot Regimental Banner Bearer

You've got until the 10th of September folks, go grab them while you can! Although they are made for use in the ArcWorlde game, they are perfect for any 28mm-35mm games, and because of the high quality resin, can be easily converted to suit your gaming needs!

Re: The Host of the Feathered Serpent - Lizzie Blog + Other bits i fancy doing...

Well it kills my budget for this month, but order made. Happy to do so.

That whale is so made of awesome, truly amazing, +1 to the barnacles.
Now all we need is a Ishmael and a Queequeg with a voodoo doll and some liquor (Sounds like a Bayourk undead harpoon guy to me). I only read that book up to five times but never got beyond page 96, so my knowledge is limited to that part of the book. Maybe I should read a few pages tonight to remember why I could not make it past there.

And since I am now logged in I might as well read up on some things on your forum.

    Hey guys!

DIno - Cheers matey! And thankyou very much for the PM! It certainly has been very useful, I'll PM you back after I've posted!

Little Joe - Thanks for the order mate! Let's hope lots more follow in your footsteps, or I'm gonna haveto be giving you your budget for this month back! :P I am most definitely doing a Zombie Bayourk Queequeg ( Moby Dick is one of my favourite ever novels - bloody hard to get through though!)

    Anyway folks, update time!

As usual, I awoke to the beautiful sight of a pristine English Summer day -

So, to try and cheer myself up, I though I would try something new - Terrain! This is a WIP picture of what I have so far -

The reason I made this, not just for artistic reasons, is so that I would have something to play amongst when introducing people to games of ArcWorlde! I could also use it, if it turns out ok, to photograph miniatures against for the rulebook and website, but we will see about that! :P I know it's not much to look at so far, but what do you think?

As well as this, I have just about finished the Zombie Ahab model -

And I have started work on the Albionnican Standard Bearer who will hopefully be given free to everyone who orders a pack of Albionnicans if the order count reaches 20! -

A bit of a meagre offering, but what do you think chaps?

    Cheers!

You're giving a mini away, it's not a meager offering Your albionicans are great, I'm a bit sad they're not interesting to me, but I wish you'll reach 20 and go beyond that

Your welcome. I must say that I do like that standard bearer. I really do hope the pre-orders hit 20. Would be nice to get that model.

Also like the start on the terrain. Looks really shaky but throw some spackle or glue and sand in between those rocks and you should be golden. How much more terrain are you planning on making?

I quite like the back of Ahab, it sure beats an empty cloak. It will also tie it in nicely with the whale. And the banner bearer is on to a good start.

Now on to the terrain, I see you are actually gluing rocks together. Are you planning on sculpting your terrain? Well I am looking forward to see more of it.

EDIT: I mean how do you plan to fill in the gaps?

Really like Ahab, one of your best for a while I think. Oh and that's no criticism of your other work, I'm just saying that this is even more awesome

Re: The Host of the Feathered Serpent - Lizzie Blog + Other bits i fancy doing...

Hey guys, thanks for the comments!

Urgat - It aint looking good mate... a weeks gone by and only two packs sold! I'm getting worried...

Dino - Thanks man! =D I'm not sure how much terrain I'll be making, as I'm not very good at it, but a decent amount so that I can get a proper ArcWorlde sized gaming board kitted out!

Little Joe - Cheers Johan! I must admit, the terrain is a bit of a bodge job - I'm trying to get it done as quick as possible as I don't have enough time to devote much of it to terrain building! SO not much sculpting involved... there is a bit though - theres a Troll skeleton on the base, an ancient lodestone, and I've been pressing putty inbetween the gaps in the stones. I've started painting it, but no doubt I'll add more and more stuff as it develops!

DazzaB - Cheers Daz I'm happy with him too!

Anyway folks, first of all, a reminder of the The Albionnican 27th Foot Regiment PRE- ORDER!

And then onto a new (ish) set of models!

In the ArcWorlde Zombie Pirate army list, there is a unit called "Bilge Rats" - undead, overgrown vermin that the Zombie Pirates like to keep as pets ( Because any self respecting Pirate wouldn't be seen DEAD without an infestation of rats in their hold, would they? )

Here are some piccies, 7 in total! -

    And the group! -

Even if you don't use them for Arcworlde, there is always a use for rat models, aint there! ;]

    Whatdya thinkie?

    Cheers!

Rats......ew. They look rather good. Now that they are out of the way will you be making more zombie crew men or more Bayuorks?

Dino - That was the right response :P Haha! I'm not sure... I know that I'm gonna make some Harpooneers to go with the Undead Leviathan, but I NEED to get those Bayourk Brutes cast for when I play games of ArcWorlde... Decisions decisions! What does everyone think?

First off, I think you should join the Tale of Terrain Builders (starting next month, link in signature), get more exposure, advice and pressure to build faster.

Yes, I was referring to the gaps, which you sculpted away. What did you use for the base, it looks warped.

The rats look nice, I somehow like the brown and green ones better, might be the colours but they look more diseased and "undead".
