What I have so far is that the Barrow Wight is an ethereal guardian who drains the souls of those who disturb their masters slumber. These souls are then bound to them in eternal torment...not a good way to go really I'm just writing the rules for this chap now...and the Cocklegriff...and Arcanite...

Will just dive in for Warpy here Walls, the ones from the Ulule project will be available once they are cast up then I'm sure they will pop up on the Warploque minis page. Assuming Warpy sells them like the others then the characters will be available seperately and the spear and bows will be in packs with one of each model.

Wow the Wight is very good, I have always liked the undead but vampires were such a turnoff. With this sexy dude setting the standard for your undead.... I just can't wait to see more Very good sculpting (as usual) and the small faces fits the bill IMO

Hey guys, thanks for the comments!

Little Joe - Thanks mate! The Shedu will be either a stand alone monster, or part of the Swords for Hire. It is a sentient being, and will fight for whatever side suits it most, so any of the races will be able to take one!

benvoliothefirst - You betcha I'm back on the undead... I just can't get enough of the smelly buggers! =P Glad you him matey!

EmperorNorton - Thanks mate! I can see what you mean about the mouth - I got the idea from watching Imohtep in The Mummy -

A srot of contorted inhuman roar to add to the creepyness

Grain Weevil - Thanks bud! =D

Dino - Glad you like em Dino!

Gewlatron - The whole 75 pages? Good lord , you must have been bored! =P But I'm glad you have enjoyed the ride =) Milliput is very awkward to work with when you first start out... it gets easier with practice, and the main trick that I've figured out when using the putty is the lubrication. As you've said, it's nigh impossible to work with the Milliput with a dry sculpting tool, but with too much water it just turns to mush. One of the ways I have got around this is by using not water, but spit! =P If you lick to tool as you go it add just the right amount of moisture to make it usable. It also helps if you wipe it before licking it, because milliput tates bloody awful! =P Hope that helps!

Urgat - It is indeed the liquid greenstuff! It really is brilliant stuff if you figure out how to use it! More impressive shoulder pads added ;]

pointyteeth - Thanks matey! One of the better ones? Thats amazing! And the Kiwis are already sculpted - I just need an ecuse to cast them up! =P

Hairy - I'm glad you like the art! And that is indeed Liquid Greenstuff! You've got the fluff of the Wight pretty much spot on, except he isn't the servant, he is the master ;] The whole army is going to revolve around him! And you are right about the halflings too :]

Cpt.McAllister - Glad you like him! And yep, that's pretty much the jist of it... scary stuff! =P

Walls - As Hairy Norseman said, you can buy everything seperately, but if you want to ask any questions, either send me a PM on here, or fill out the contact form on my website :]

Vaiuri - Glad you like him! =D thankyou!

Animerik - Thankyou very much! I'm not the biggest fan of Vampires either (not helped by all the vamp-hype around at them moment ), so for the time being there won't be any in Arcworlde. If there are, they will be mutated bat demons, the way proper vamps should be ;]

Anyway folks, here is some quick artwork I did of the Cocklegriff for my college project, and possibly to go into my rulebook! The basic rulebook will have the army lists for the Halflings and the Bayourks in as sample races, and then a small beastary at the back for a few monsters that may frequent the borderlands of Hobbleshire! Thats the plan anyway =P

Just to let you lot know, the Cocklegriff will be up for Pre-Order on the 18th of May, or this Friday. I will be running this straight through my webstore, but the principle will be the same as on Ulule. I will be running it for 2 Weeks, and if I have enough Pre-Orders I will cast it, if not I will fully refund everyone :]

As well as this, I decided to do another big painting - this time a battle between the Albionnicans and the dread Undead Pirates! -

This painting then inspired me to carry on with a certain old model that has been sat on my shelf gathering dust for months - the undead whale!

    WIP -

Carrying on with the undead, I decided to sculpt some seperate "accessories" for the Barrow Wight, in the form of a sowrd and sheild, if your undead terror was a deadly warrior in life, or to use as counters in treasure hunt quests!

As well as this, I decided to sculpt the barrow which it protects, the remains of it's corporeal form -

SHEDU! Love the name, love the model.

The Cocklegriff and Barrow Wight look the bomb, and your paintings are sweeet.

Ah, I'm glad you're back to the whale-corpse thing. What's the plan for that one?

I like the undead whale lol. Very nice.

I like the wight and his grave.

I would like the cocklegriff, but I'm not sure whether I'll have finished in university... May have get it shipped home rather than here lol.

Also, any estimate on when we'll get the halflings? Love your stuff!

Artwork looks nice and different from much of the other fantasy stuff which goes around.... I must say that I really like how you create your own universe.

I could not agree more with you on the topic of vampires The extra bits and the tomb are drop dead gorgeous (pun intended) I particularly like the shield and the details on the casket, my only concern is the under detailed sword hilt (at least compared to the shield, then again it looks good as it is....).

I'm also a fan of the undead Whale which is a really unique piece, kudos for working on it again!

Keep the work up, can't wait for updates

Re: The Host of the Feathered Serpent - Lizzie Blog + Other bits i fancy doing...

Hey guys, thanks for the comments!

Mr Feral - Cheers buddy The plan for the whale is to hae it with a Howda on it's back made out of the wreck of a ship, and then have the crew placed on there. I was thinking of sculpting a crew especially to fit the model, but I decided to sell it empty because the overall price would be too much :/ It's gonna be a huge model, and I'm worried it won't sell because of it!

mcfishstick - Thanks mate! The halflings are currently being casted, and will be ready in the next few weeks

Cpt McAllister - Awwwwwh! :P nothing like abit of nostalgia, eh? :P and cheers!

ANyway folks, a small update on the Whale! This time with a Zombie Pirate for scale-

Very cool, the barnacles are a nice touch. The eye looks very sinister and the size is good. For sale purposes I think that making the howda optional/removable which could attract more buyers. Will there be zombieshark cavalery? would be damn awesome

Agreed, I could see myself buying that.. thing pictured above, while one with a howdah/ship on it? Not so much. Though I'm certain it'd look very nice, the price would probably be even higher and I would just want a disgusting rotting whale. *Never thought I'd say that*

Actually, I think there's a great opportunity here. As various people would want various things, you may very well be able to sell:
    -Whale
    -Whale with ship
    -Whale with ship and crew
    -Ship with crew
    -Ship
    -Crew

Don't think too many people would have a use for the entire thing, but the seperate parts? I think so!

A great model that whale and the options idea elaborated by C-Coen above sounds good to me. I would want it all, but price may put some people off. The artwork is looking great, love the sea battle. Be sure to make it a full colour book for Arcworlde, it will cost, but it would be nice to have.

The barrow wight looks great and the tomb + bitz are a great idea. The sword could use a few twirls to match the shield.

So a proper pre order, a test for things to come? I need more pay days...

Zombie whale! Yaaaay! It looks to be inspired by Keith Thompson's rotting leviathan artwork. Love it!

Love it, love it, love it. So glad to see the unwhale back on your sculpting table! If I could make one comment, it would be that with the intestines spilling out on the ground, (which is a GREAT trick for avoiding a flying stand by the way, kudos) I think they should look more like they're "dragging behind," sticking to the ground and trailing backwards as the whale glides forward. Does that make sense?

Awesome job on the barrow wight's corpse. Does this mean you're gonna start doing scenery? The possibilites are endless!

Mmh... I think someone does not find sculpting barnacles fun after a while

Re: The Host of the Feathered Serpent - Lizzie Blog + Other bits i fancy doing...

Love the whale! I second the keep whale + boat + crew detachable. I'd probably want a whole one lol. If you can design the howdah as a boat with a concave bottom, so the boat/howdah fits on the whale but can also stand on its own, then I'm sure zombie pirate fans will rejoice.

@warpy, yep you´re right ;P Will you sculpt some barnacles on the other side of the whale aswell?

Re: The Host of the Feathered Serpent - Lizzie Blog + Other bits i fancy doing...

Hey guys, glad you like the Whale! =D Yes indeed he will have a ship howda... work will start on that soon! :]

Animerik/C-Coen - That's a brilliant idea! Definitely going to do that, thanks for that! =D And I quite like the zombie shark cavalary too :P

LittleJoe - Thanks mate! The Arcworlde book will be black and white I'm afraid :/ I honestly couldnt make it cost effective at all! Though I'm looking into a few colour pages for the big artworks More curls willbe added to the sword too!

pointyteeth - Thanks mate! Keith Thompson? WHo's he? WHat what artwork is this? :S

benvoliothefirst - Cheers matey! Those dragging intestines have been added... good idea! And scenery? Would people be interested in Warploque Miniatures scenery (or even scenic bases? )

Urgat - You sure are right sir. Not.Fun.At.ALL. And I've got so many more to go

mcfishstick - Oh yes, yet another GREAT idea! :P Sea Battles anyone?

Lord Azoth - Thanks man! Glad you like it!

Cpt Mcallister - There sure will be more barnacles! Many... MANY more effin' barnacles...

Anyway folks... a big announcement - The Cocklegriff is now up for Pre-Order!

    Click here to Pre-Order yours! - http://www.warploqueminiatures.co.uk...er-cocklegriff

It will essentially be the same system as before - if you "buy" the model you put your name down for a cast when they come, buy two models and you get two casts, and so on and so forth! Once you have made your order you will be updated with all news and whatnot of the casting process, and then given an estimated time of delivery!
