Tervigon time! Phew, that was a tough one. I'm really pleased with how it turned out in the end though!

I had some difficulties deciding on the colour of the egg sack, but in the end I went for a dark, leathery red (Scab red basecoat, some Blood red highlighting, a Devlan mud wash, some drybrushing with Scab red and Blood red again, and finally a Baal red wash). I will use the same method on the Gargoyle wing membranes and the Venomthrope gas bladders.

Yes, the Tervigon is quite the monster! The Deathskull has some mates...around 80 unpainted ones! I'll try to push on with the Tyranids for now, but I'm really itching to paint some Shoota boyz!

Makes sense. I'm flitting back and forth between greenskins and beakies myself, and I know how hard it is with the temptation to do other stuff
