Some really cool conversions there, the chosen particularly, and the eyes on the shield.
Ive considered buying a scropion simply because I think it is one of the best models forge-world has ever produced.
You sir have doneit justice. And for that, I salute you.

Will this log be updated with new word bearer reinforcements?

Thanks for the interest
Yes, I will be putting up photos. However WIPs will only probably be up after the Age of the Emperor event. Due to the sheer amount I've got to paint for this one (60 Cultists, 20 Marines, 8 Bloodcrushers, 6 Terminators, 3 Daemon Princes, 3 Drop pods and possibly a Landraider, much of the models will be minus final details at the weekend.

I loved Dark Apostle and is currently waiting for the collected trilogy next year. So I can understand why you are so inspired. You have done a great job, personally though I have pictured Burias differently, but thats how we all do. You have done a great job with the characters.![]()

Cheers, Shadowfall. Thanks for putting those up. I'll definitely try to ensure that there's more orange left behind in the recesses of the next batch of Bloodletters and the Juggernauts!

"He Bears the Word, Behold, for a god comes amongst you!"
Pictures from the War in Golconda event run by the tempus fugitives last weekend, was truly something.
These models really are just amazing when you see them in real life. Alongside these there are about 30 cultists that Sam sacrificed to the Dark Gods to empower his marines with gifts of the chaos gods. Truly amazing, looking forward to seeing more

Apologies for the threadomancy...
I've taken a bit of a break from painting Necrons and decided to go back to the Word Bearers and breathe some life into their much neglected Transport pool. Here are the results:

Nice work Lucifer216, your flame painting skill are now 'l33t'.I'm impressed how you've managed to make them look sinister rather than 80s and cheesy.
Good work!

You know my opinions on painted-on flames, but these look fantastic! The painting has really brought out the detail of the models (particularly those FW glacis plates), and the balance of Chaotic bits with the basic shape works really well.
