    Re: Toonboy's log

Thanks Rev, i am going a little wacky.

sorry for that lack of updates. i shave been so busy these last 2 months. about 10 games of blood bowl, 2/3 40k games, holidays, exchange students at the house, dog sitting, world cup.

i do however have a basic painted drop pod and a 2nd one with some colour on it. i need 3 done by the begining of August so expect some updates by then.

loving blood bowl! my 4 teams have just started out but they have had some fun games!

Looks good, well done at coming forth, only one loss out of three is a good result. Your opponents armie is also very impressive, must have been a pleasure to play against it.

Nice to see those drop pods make it onto your log Toonboy Unfortunately their contents couldn't kill the Nids fast enough on Saturday but I am sure your boys will get their revenge on another day

Well done on Sunday as well!
Level points with the Thunderbolts, (Pictured above) and 3 points off the 3rd placed Dark Eldar, all in all a top day

Looking forward to your next project!

    Re: Toonboy's log

it has been a while since my last update on this log. i have mainly been playing games (see Safehouse log).

but at last i have done some painting.

    my 5th tactical squad!

as for what i am doing next, i have my 3rd rhino on the painting table now and hope to get that done soon.

i then haave my 1500 point list to touch up as it has some battle damage. this needs doing by the end of Novemeber for a Tourney.

then i have a Razorback (for Command Squad) for finish off

plus 6th tact squad need sassembling, i have a new captain model, a dev squad that is nearly assembled.

i need the following to finish my battle company

    5 rhinos
    command squad
    assault squad

all most there....then my Grey Knights!

Looks good, lots of progress there. I like the battle report pics, always nice to see models in action! Any chance at an army shot?

Cool, thanks. Seeing the army together I noticed the Pred standing out a bit. The yellow on the turret is very well places and catches the eye. Well done!

    Re: Toonboy's log

Ah the heralded Battle Company - Toonboy was very excited this morning - first thing i got when i was in over OCS (internal company communicator - like MSN) was "I have a Battle Company, I have a Battle Company !!!" - he is like a child at Christmas or more aptly, a pig in **** !

It just means my Tau / Necrons have more marines to kill !

    Well done you !
40k urge has returned ! I won't let the negativity spoil my fun.
The Inquisition - from nothing to something log!
    - Project on ICE and looking to sell!

A Tomb World Awakens! Update : I have starting painting and playing again !

I've been trying to think what will complement the battle company in this game of ours, I'm pretty stuck, and pretty pissed that I have to spend several hundred points on assault marines
None-the-less, feels good to have the BC to play with doesn't it?

May sound like a crazy idea, but what about some whirlwinds to provide some long distance firepower as a battle company on it's own is focused on short - mid range on the whole.

    Re: Toonboy's log

Wulfen, by the time you have bougth some bling you ar enot going to have that many points.

you have 2 lovely dreads that "should" be used, and a deathwing squad. for me it is even harder as i will be using 8 rhinos and a razorback!

Chris: we have to stick to the FOC so we only have

    1 HQ
    3 Elites
    1 FA
    1 HS

    to choose.....
