The Lost and the Damned - Stempe's Renegades

    Hey guys!
I'd like to present you an army of mine: The Lost and the Damned
I play them with Codex Imperial Guard because the lists from the Imperial Armour books aren't really competitive and I want to play my traitors on tournaments as well as in friendly matches.
Please subscribe to my log as I'll post new painted models here continuously.

    Stuff painted so far:

    HQ:

    Company Command Squad

    Elites:

    Battle Psyker Squad

    Ogryn Berserker Squad

    Troops:

    Veteran Squad

    Veteran Squad

    Veteran Squad

    Penal Legion Squad

For all those of you who wish to take a look at my former Renegades army, the Defenders of Vraks, should check out my blog: http://brushandminiaturetorture.blog...s%20of%20Vraks

Very nice, great overall look. The colour scheme is very good, and all painted to a very high standard!

Thank you for all your comments!

    @Nocturn
I guess so, yes. Or maybe it's from a Dark Elf, dunno. I got this guy as a little birthday present from a friend of mine. But I think the legs fit quite well to the torso.

Okay guys, I tried out my new airbrush I got for Xmas on one of my Valkyries.
I'm quite content with the result and the first wing's finished:

Sweet - the wing turned out great. Can't wait to see it all. Almsot has a cartoonish look ot it.

Thanks! But the Chaos star is a freehand, just want you to know that.
I hear very often that my minis always have a cel-shading or cartoon look.
I finished the second wing yesterday but forgot to upload it in this forum. So here you go:

I think I'll finish the hull of the Valkyrie today.

Okay, the hull is nearly finished. Today, I painted the source lighting effect in the cockpit, the metal parts and the highlights on the hull. The only thing that's missing now is the battle damage.

    Hey Stempe :-)

go with a chaos star on the nose, too.
But only a half one like on your tanks
I think this would look good, too, but it is already an amazing model.
The airbrush went really well and yes, kind of cartoonish but for games day judges, they would like the effect :-)
The osl is really well done, I like it a lot.
Maybe some close ups of it?

Hi Nocturn! Thanks a lot for your accolade. The Valkyrie's finished now and here you can see the evidence photos. But the colours on the photos don't look like they actually do, so I'll take some new photos with daylight tomorrow morning.

I think 2 chaos stars, especially that big ones, are sufficient.

Re: The Defenders of Vraks - Stempe's Renegades

    Hey mate :-)

the valk is looking really nice nonetheless, and I also don't think the osl is too much (like some in your german forum did, I have read it just now and I have to say I don't like german forums very much, that's the reason why I am here on warseer ;-)).
And yes, of course with another star it would look too full, but imo I would have painted one star on a wing and one on the nose :-)
It is imo too accurate for chaos :-)
But that is just me and it is as said looking very well done.

    Keep it up,

    Noc

Very cool looking army! I really need to give my chaos stars some more love, yours look really good. Oh, and Traitor Guards ftw!

Hey mates, thanks for your numerous comments! I got up very early today just to take some good photos with daylight. Early, because there are holidays and I normally sleep then until midday or sth. like that... ^^

    Here we go:
