So I spent all day painting my first Cryx model, Bane Lord Tartarus, only to realize I won't have access to a decent camera for a few days... but my whole motivation for finishing him was to stick him on here, so it looks like I'll have to do with showing you guys a crappy camera phone teaser shot. Anyway the theme for the army is going to be light effects and weathered bronze.

That looks awesome, even with the lo-fi image! I really like the Cryx models, seems like you've done a good job!

What other models do you have?

Thanks a lot man! Thats not actually my first Warmachine model. I've got a Goreshade the Bastard that I painted a couple years ago, which isn't really up to my current standards, so I need to strip him and repaint. I also have the Cryx jack that digs under ground. As soon as I get some disposable income I'm going to buy the starter box. I want to build my army around bane thralls and bane knights and a couple jacks.

Really nice so far - its not the nicest model (I own it too) but your work is impressive.

Thanks man, I actually converted him a little because I hated how he looked at first too. I cut him in the middle with a hack saw and then bent him forward into a pose that I think is a lot better then the stock model.

Wow! I'm very impressed with the cool, spooky glow paint job on this guy! Makes me want to dig my Cryx out and finish painting them.

Looking great! Could we get some bigger pics, though? It's hard to make out the details... I got my first Warmachine mini for Christmas - a Bloat Thrall. Haven't started on it yet, but I'm certainly looking forward to!

Goreshade the "Born out of wedlock". I think I'm improving a little at the mini painting thing. I've been doing it for 13 years, its about time!

realy like those pp models was thinking of doing some skorne after seeing them at a club at the weekend your painting really brings out the undead feeling of the cryx fantastic will have to keep an eye on this subscribed

The glow effect is great, very atmospheric painting all-round.
