***My Wanted List***
Hello there!
It's friday, so it's time for another update!
I've been working on the body and head, which has been very tricky, but I think it's going well.
So here's the early stages of the body:-
[IMG][/IMG]
This is the 'Eye of Horus' detail which hasn't gone that well but think painting will improve - hopefully!!
[IMG][/IMG]
Now the head. I tried to mimic the Iron Warriors 'Grinning Skull' but it is a little large for the body and a bit boxy!
[IMG][/IMG]
Eye sights detail:-
[IMG][/IMG]
Finally the two together with the legs, which now have centre armour plates added:-
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
Now this is the early stages of the build, the body looks a little small and the head large but it still needs the back vents, shoulders/pads and I'm hoping this will bulk it out enough.
Thanks for your comments so far,
More to follow soon.

Hello.
Starting to make some progress on the body, heres how it's getting along:-
[IMG][/IMG]
Spent a lot of time on the back, bit tricky to copy:-
[IMG][/IMG]
I like the way the exhaust vents have come out:-
[IMG][/IMG]
I used bottle caps for the fumme outlets, bit big but I like them:-
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
Just started on the arms.
It's early days but thought I'd put them on anyway:-

Again used filler on a card cut out of an arrow. Pic's are not great (it's raining at the mo) but should get the idea.
This is looking fantastic! Great inspiration for all of us meaning to get round to projects like this.
Not sure how you're applying the filler but it looks a little rough and it would be a shame to spoil such an otherwise amazing build. Have you got something small and flat to fill the gaps in with and smooth the surface out? It can help to wait until it's started to set before trying to apply sharp detail and straight edges, hope that helps!
To paraphrase Harry: 8th edition and Storm of Magic - BRING IT ON!
Hi Valaraukar,
Yes I agree with you, some of the arrows look quite rough, especially the 'Eye of Horus'
The arrows on the Forge World Reaver look rough so I was trying to recreate that look, you know like the arrows are sprouting out of the titan!
I do like the last set I made on the arms, I smoothed them with some water and they look better so I think I'm gonna sort the others out too.
Brilliant start your titan should look a treat when finished keep going!
So, first of all sorry for dark pics, energy saving bulbs not great for light but you can still get the jist of it.

Shoulder pads were a nightmare, tried to mimic the 'grinning skull' emblum
[IMG][/IMG]
Started on the Apocallypse missile launcher, not shaw what to use for missiles? thinking of using kebab skewers but are a little small - any ideas?
Now this beast stands 19 1/2 inches to top of body and 22 to top of Apoc lancher. Is that a bit tall for a reaver or do you think I can get away with it?
[IMG][/IMG]
I thought maybe the daenomic powers that have possessed it have made the titan grow slightly - convincing or am I being a bit petty?
It will be fine. No one is going to be upset 'cause your titan is tall, in fact, they'll probably be pleased because it makes it more badass. If they are going to complain about your titan being too tall... I don't really know what to tell you or them for that matter because that is a dumb thing to get pissy over.
I dont think youll have trouble with it, sizewise. I mean, what are they going to complain about? That it doesnt work with LoS?
Anyone should be honored to be able to play on the same table as that chaotic monstrosity. Also, nice work so far. And FAST! Normally, a blog like this spans a couple dozen pages, but youre on page 2 and almost finished... And it doesnt look rushed, as you might expect at that speed.... Great work, really! Keep it up!
For the missitle, you could use the skewers as a bse, then 'wrap modelling putty etc around tit to make the conical shape. Or buy plasticard tubing for the body of the missile. Or even chop up a few ball point pens, or marker pens if they are too thin. Make cardboard wing bits to go on the front and they should look quite cool.
Slaaaaaanesh
Ok just a quick update to let you know how the Apoc Lancher is going. Its probably about 70% completed now, just the back to do, rivets and want to add some spikes somewhere.

Went with the kebab skewers in the end. Their not glued in yet because I've still not decided.
Thanks for comments an advice so far.
That is too cool. If you are looking for something different for your Apocs missiles try using round pencils. They should come out to be about the right scale.
Thanks Koren,
Round pencls seems a good idea but can you paint over the points?
Also I would prefer to have a 'Vortex Support Missile' on top but I have no idea how one should look, so I went for the Apoc Launcher instead. However if anyone does know what the Vortex looks like it would be great if you could let me know.

Just got some better Pic's of the titan that I'd thought I'd show. Nothing new has been added Im affraid:-
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
That's it for now!!
Ok, think I've finished the Apocolypse Missile Launcher now so here it is:-
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
Finally finished the Melta cannon:-
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
I'm happy with the result, except for the barrels which don't protrude enough but still like the outcome.
Next will be the Laser Blaster....
Looking awesome! I've been tempted to try a scratchbuilt reaver, but I'd never get it to look quite right![]()
Hi, just another quick update.
Laser Blaster is now complete, also made Lower Arm and made the weapons pivit! (although I'm worried that they will fall off as it's a bit wobbly!)
If it does then I might just glue it back on and have done with it.
[IMG][/IMG]
[IMG][/IMG]
Almost done now! Just have to do the following and its ready:-
1) Stick gun arms to shoulders
2) Attach pipes to back of weapons & legs
3) Finish Eye of Horus and smooth off some of the arrows
4) Make it more chaotic with spikes and chains etc
When thats done I think it will be ready for undercoating.
Pics to follow soon with all weapons on, watch this space!!
This looks great ... except the head is far to big ... if you redo the head I think this will look amazing.
