Elotsip does something besides Chaos Renegades

I have been working on my CRM army for close to 3 years straight now. I still love them and enjoy working on them but I wanted to take a break and work on something different for a bit. So I broke out my sisters of battle that have not been painted on in at least 4 years! I still play them, I just don't like painting white very much. But I only have like 20 more models to go and they will be 100% complete so that is my goal, to get them done.

This is the first sister I painted way back in 2002 or so. I got them off my brother who got them off my buddy.




This was a new prototype from a few years ago. I decided against the brown, mostly because my CRM have a lot of brown and I wanted to do something different. So I kept the robes black.




These are the sisters I painted over the last week or so. I will have to go back and touch up my older sisters to make them look more uniform in the shading and highlighting but they essentially look the same.

Started on a cannonesse, but then realized her left hand is infact a right hand! We can't have use chaostic tainted on the pure sisters so that hand will have to go...




And lastly I started on Hector Rex. I'm actually doing this guy for the January single minie contest but he's also part of the inquisition so I posted him here.

Worked on a few minor conversions yesterday. I gave a few sister veterans evicerators. I like have my elite sisters with them since they hit on a 3+. I bought these bits back when you could still buy bits from gw, curse those dogs for stopping that service!

I also converted the cannonesse a bit. I got rid of the right handed book in her left hand. Can't have that sort of chaos taint on her now can I. I magnetized the left arm joint so I can swap in the bolt pistol or the fusion pistol. I also thought she needed something that looked more special for her blessed blade than just a regular looking power sword. So I dug out this old big from confessor what's his name and proceeded to hack it up. its a bit big but should get the point across that it's not regular power weapon.

and yes, the veterants will be getting repainted as there were done back in 04 or so.

I like the direction your army's going, and they're painted well, but what's this doing in the Chaos logs?

The confessor's weapon is a great one. I like the look of the Sister Superiors with the evicerators. The brown on them looks like dried blood, which you have said you are going to change, but I think it looks pretty cool in contrast with the white armor.

Are you planning to flesh this out into a whole army or are you just using the units you have?

I actually have a full army, I can field about 2500 points. I just had another 30 sister that needed to be painted and the cannonesse. I'll get some pics of the rest of the stuff too. I've got 2 immolators (1 FW, 1GW), 2 exorcists (FW), 2 rhinos (with FW bits) and a whole mess of sisters. I need to touch them up and update the painting on them all a but though. Compared to the recent ones they look pretty rough. I actually like the brown better but I don't want to repaint all the sisters that are already done, which is why I decided to go with the black/grey.
