My Riders of Rohan.

Well asI hav started a new Rohan army for WotR i thought thatI might show you all a few pictures. I have been painting on mass so far and in thee weeks I have managed to paint 32 Militia, 24 Archers, 18 Eored and 8 Royal Knights.
My methods have been simple. Spray Army Builder Brown then pick out detail with singke base colour then use army painter Strong Tone. The effect is quite good I think.

I have also painted all my Characters on Foot so far. What do you think?

like it very much, but a couple highlights would benefit your miniatures, to give them more depth, specially the skin and the clothing (the characters have much metal parts, so they are ok, but the others might need a bit of depth on the colors, shading and so)

Fair point. I have tried to keep the highlighting on Radagast subtle to accentuate the blending. The skin could perhaps do with a bit of a flesh wash to pick out the details a bit more.

oh! and do not think i paint greatly, i suffer from the same problem as you do, do not know very much how to do quality highlights

Pretty solid tabletop paint job. Not bad. Alittle more with the skin tone could help, as mentioned. And maybe just something on the eyebrows, since they seem to be molded on the figure, but not painted - maybe they are, but I didn't see it too well.

Otherwise, nice job. Radagast in particular.

I have decided to add Merry to the mix. I know hes not fantastic but I painted him anyway.
