Look! Look! Ded Cred's got new trousers:

Unfortunately, they're rubbish. At least he fits in with the rest of the non-Juves. I'll give his Heavy Stubber version better trousers...

I'm fairly sure that guy was fronting an Oi band I saw in Camden a few years ago

    Really enjoying this Plog!

    Re: Project: Necromunda

I painted these a while ago, but now I can show them to you:

    Thick Dave, Goliath Juve.

    Slimy Sid, Goliath Juve.

    Rotten Pahul, Goliath Juve.

So I take it saying he is not the smartest juve in the hive would be the understatement of the year.

I like the pattern on the paints for the gangers.

I've been following your personal blog for a while as well, but I'm loving these Goliaths. Ded Cred with the stubber is easily my favourite.

Nice to see you're still going strong Steiny.

I'm really liking Thick Dave's bloodshot/bruised eye. Did he get it in a fight or walking into a lamp post?

    Re: Project: Necromunda

Thick Dave had a fight with an illum-post, which he won (or so he claims)...

    More stuff:

Wyrd Telekinetic, the Sallow Man. Note finished base...!

Bounty Hunter - I'm at a loss as to what colour to paint his hair and trousers. I'm tempted to give him yellow hair and red trousers, or red hair and yellow trousers. Thoughts?

    More to come soon.

    Re: Project: Necromunda

    And finally...

Billy Whizz - not to be confused with Billy the Whizz, the Beano character. At least, not too much - the name's another shoutout. Shouldn't really tell you, but hey ho! Late of House Orlock, a committed alcoholic who'll fight for a few bottles of Wildsnake or a crate of Second Best. Uses a plasma pistol with aiming monocular to try and compensate for his alcohol-induced lack of accuracy. Don't call him fat. He's 'rotund' or 'big boned'.

Just 41 more Necromunda figures to go before I can buy more!

    Re: Project: Necromunda

Nice one with the lightning strikes - it never occurs to me to paint in details like Ded Cred's trousers or those. I've some Pit Slaves coming, so they won't suit, but perhaps the next gang after that will have some flash details.

What figures do you have left?

    Re: Project: Necromunda

Freehanded details are just the sort of thing to consider when painting Necromunda stuff. I was originally going to try and freehand a skull and crossbones with scrollwork over it instead of the twin lightning bolts, but then I realised it was too late at night for me to try that and went for the bolts instead.

What have I got left? Errr...

    A handful of Ratskins
3 Escher which need paint stripping
    2 Scummers
    1 semi-painted Telekinetic Wyrd
20-odd Orlocks (probably closer to 30 I think)
    2 or 3 Goliaths

And that's it, as far as I can remember off the top of my head.

I still really, really, really want a Brakar the Avenger figure. I'll pay or trade for him!

    Re: Project: Necromunda

I just hit Brakar into Google to see if I could find one, and came up with a thread that you'd started on the EF two-and-a-half years ago saying the exact same thing!

There's one without a gun on eBay.

    Re: Project: Necromunda

Yeh, it's quite scary - if you Google 'Necromunda' or 'Escher' into ImageSearch you often find my stuff cropping up on pg1/2 which is nice but I do wish there was more of other people's stuff up there.

Brakar without gun for 99p? Cool.
Brakar without gun for 99p plus SEVEN POUNDS P&P? No thanks!

I hope to post more pictures soon. Tomorrow or the day after probably.

Really top notch stuff in this log. I like all the personal back stories and details you have added into your gangers, as it really brings them to life. The mussed up skin on the face of your PDF deserter i probably my favorite example.
I am not too fond of the blue makeup on Tomas Kane, however, as it makes him look like a tranny.

P.S. I think I have a Brakar in package that I might be willing to part with. PM me if you wish to set something up.

Wow, I love the looks of all your gangs. Especially the Eschers, I always loved those models. Jes really out did himself on the sculpting, but you brought them to life with the paint jobs.

I can't wait to see your take on a Enforcer (Arbites) squad, I guess since their not really a gang.

Thank you very much! Slight moan though: the messed up skin is meant to be freckles...!

He is, sort of, or maybe not, well, it's all a bit confusing... sexuality in the 41st millenium isn't simple you know!

He was, I did, and you can look forwards to seeing Brakar at some point this year!

If there was a blush smily, I'd use it here. Thank you - compliments like that really mean a lot to me.

I'm hoping to get a squad's worth this year sometime - both old and new. Think Judge Dredd for the oldies and sinister leather-fetish "For You Ze Var Iss Over, Ja" style stormtroopers for the new 'uns...

    Steiner,

Who are these Nancey boys are you trying to scare me or what! I like Mr Fancy Pants you have given him a real 70's feel. Maybe you could whip up a Safari Suit in Green Stuff! that would work I'm sure.

    Yes I'm back.
