I must be psychic. A man adds lots of track guards to all his Tanks and Chimera's and gets a 10pts bonus of no movement penalty when you lose wounds. That's just awesome.

They did have effects in other editions as well.. I'm thinking 2nd and 3rd especially, maybe 4th as well.

Sovie, they are all to small for the weapons they bear, lol. Can't stand Gdubz logic in model design in that regard, so I tend to stay away from those, lol, like Leman Russes, regular Baneblades..

    Re: SDKFZs Mechanised Guards

Got some primer on the Tinnelon pattern Atlas.

Also got an old support sentinel from fleabay. Got it dissassembled and rebuilt. The original had its feet on the wrong way and some of the resin pieces were not mounted as they should.
    Here it is freshly rebuilt.

    And with the primer on.

    Immer weiter !

    Re: SDKFZs Mechanised Guards

@ Boesoe: Yepp, liked it ever since i first caught sight of it. Never got round to buying one before it went OOP.
Was very happy when i got this one
Btw, did you notice that i have added some sides to that rear spade ? Not much, but it goes some way in the "beefedup40kstyle"

Got both minis on the painting table right now. Added the desert yellow and am in the prosess of adding the ink.
Lets see if i can add some pics later tonight.

    Re: SDKFZs Mechanised Guards

Well my attention was drawn to the sentinel as I really like the model aswell, but now you mentioned it it ties in much better with the rest of the vehicle now, nicely done, small but effective!

So, you're making some real progress then, sweet!! My hobby afternoon was lacking some mojo today, good to hear that you had it in abundanc today! Looking forward to your next pics!

    First the support sentinel.

    And then the Tinnelon Atlas.

Also managed to fix up one more salamander

    Not a bad days work.
Next will be the drybrushing. But that will be another day.
