Re: Black Horizon - a Beastmen log

Waaaw that minotaur really got some anabolics added to his diet, that skin and muscles are looking very good!
Now I really want to fight this army and test if their muscles are really that good
Keep it up mate, your stuff looks still awesome!

Whow! Fantastic start to an army that i'm sure will look better than great. Good work, really darn good work. Keep it up and this will surely be one of the best looking beastmen armys i've seen so far. 'eavy metal included.

    thanks guys...
those are some praising words....i hope i can keep it up...i have been kept busy a little lately by my space marines. i entered a dutch tale of X gamers so i will be getting back to work to keep up with that...even though i allready have a small go ahead start i rather keep it that way...so i can work on some marines in between too....and get both armies done

I came for the Beastmen, but I stayed for the Ghorgon!

Everything's looking great so far, and I can't wait to see that Ghorgon done! I'll keep that in mind if I ever want one of my own!

    I'm subscribing to this log!

its really cool to read all that...

well no gorgon but i hope you will like this little menace too..
he is my BSB and i called him Mallus..he still needs a lastname but he is quite the agressive little bastard in my fluff...

anyway he obviously still needs paint..just thought i could show you some of the work i did on him so far...
    the overview

    bit closer

    his back

    the banner

    wow, nice plog Breazer!
i loved your centigors! Now I'm loving the BSB, it looks terrific!
But more than those, I liked the giant. Could you please post a closeup pic of him? And if you would be so kind to explain how you achieved the skin colour...

    Congratulations for your log! ;D

Awsome! The chainmail you have sculpet looks pretty cool.
The parts you combined work very well together, but I wonder what you used as the top of the battle-standard??

Re: Black Horizon - a Beastmen log

Woow nice bsb dude! The chainmail is really good!
His pose is very cool too and so looks the banner. With all the skulls he looks like a mean machine.
I really want to see that one painted and in the midst of a unit of angry Gors, keep going on!

Quite astonishing little bud there. How about Mallus Gutspiller or Mallus the Dismemberer? Brutal reputation needs a brutal nickname after all.

We'll see how my beast army turns out.. Hopes are that I'll get as many updates as you have..

    Great going, keep it up!

I like the BSB, very striking pose. Don't forget to take care of the mold lines, I forgot one on my Warrior Priest and it bums me out every time I look at him. And that would really be a shame on such a nice mini.
