Really stunning board, loving the colours.
I like the whole weathered and rusted feel to terrain.
Thanks for the rust recipe, will try it out sooner or later... hopefully soonerThose big white pipes look really good with the weathering. Will you do any water effect oil leakages or something like that?
Hi!
Uh, somebody said oil? hehe
I'm trying, but my skills are a bit limited (this is my first paint project).
Another base almost finished (building are WIP).
Varnish was drying.

We want to see more!![]()
Non sans cause...
And you got more!
A little FAIL to me. I want to redo it:
My first experiment trying to do "water effect"
I really like the swamp effect.
Some rocks to give cover:
I need to redo the color.
And my next project. A sewage treatment plant
The plan is to do some kind of pool in the black zone.
Of course, every table needs a computer fan
The black base was a vain attempt to do "a galaxy" for another item.

WOW! The rust & weathering on the white pipe is amazing, please elaborate on how you did it!
Great stuff, keep it coming.
hi!
The rust:
What I did:
Vallejo Model Color Purpleheart Red. I use a stippling brush (I made it with a cheap and old brush #12). Take care. Don't press too much. Don't put too much paint.
Vallejo Game Color Plague Brown. Same as with Purpleheart Red. Less paint.
Vallejo game color bone white. Very little paint.
Apply one or two "touches" of chartadon granite (citadel Foundation) with sponge.
Vallejo Matt varnish (spray).
Apply water over the rust.
Sprinkle salt over the areas that have been wetted.
Wait til it dryes.
Paint the model (white spray)
brush off the salt. I used a toothbrush (an old one)
apply the pigment (brown iron oxide from Vallejo) with an old brush.
It seems tedious, but it takes 10min.

it isn't terrain, but... I think it's a beautiful pic of a crazy buy xD

You have some very nice terrain here!
One idea, which you're free to ignore (it's your terrain, after all) would be to redo the archaeological remains, and cut off the tongue of the monster. I don't think that'd keep as much as the exoskeleton.

I was thinking to remove the tongue, but... I forgot it when I painted the model!. You are the first one who notice that
oh. Gonfrask, thanks for your hate.. Es cuestión de ahorrar

Great job sir! I really like the story you've got behind it all - the Nid fossil is a great idea too.![]()
I am available for digital artwork commissions. If you are interested please PM me.
hi there!
My progress:
I want an elevator (service lift) to descend (remember, a mine world), so I've made this:
The elevator floor aren't glued and has a little base to change the height (to give cover a vehicle or troops or nothing). I haven't finished yet, but I think it looks right. I have to paint the metal, add an strretlamp, and make a sort of cabin.
Great job! I love the elevator, really adds some "false depth" to your table. Wonderful idea!
Keep up the great work,
BTB
Thanks!
Four of my "craters". I've made them for a game, so I had to rush my job and now I have to raise the edges! hehe
