Was supposed to get this up over the weekend, but real life continues to conspire against my grand gaming schemes...Ah well, it's up now.
This is a very humble beginning, but it is a start. The camera I'm working with isn't the greatest for taking detailed shots, and I'm far from even amature levels of skill in photgrophy. That being said, I think the pictures I have show the conversions well enough, and hopefully by the time I really start painting I'll have learned to take better pictures.
First off, some of my favorite models in the army, wyches...
If you're not familiar with fantasy, these are almost entirely dark elf corsairs. The only real modification is the crossbow is cut down and glued back together to make shredders. Some of the rank and file wyches have dark eldar arms with close combat weapons and splinter pistols. Unfortantely all of my sucubi look pretty much the same. Different legs and heads, on the arm crossed torso. I really need to come up with some way to differentiate these guys.
Next is a poor but close picture of my incubi...
The other two that I have built don't have the tormentor helm gun piece added. I don't recall exactly which sprue it came from, but it's something (maybe a grenade?) on one of the craft world eldar sets. Otherwise this is a set of warrior legs, with the cold one calvary torso arms and (generally) head. Shields are also from the dark elf line, though I don't remember which set exactly. All that's left is green stuffing gaps on this one.
Along with the incubi is a pair of warriors with splinter cannons...
I wanted these to be definately female models, as they are supposed to be concubines for the lord who's retinue they're part of. They look a little alike for my taste, but the thought of a dark eldar lord buggering a pair of twins seems strangely appropriate.
This is the lord's ride...
I've seen a few different takes on converted raiders, and used them as inspiration for my HQ's taxi. I really wish I would have waited to glue the dark lance on, as I got ahold of some magnets days later. If I'd been patient I could just pull it off when people roll those pesky "weapon destroyed" results.
A raider squad splinter cannong weilding warrior...with paint...
Not a lot of paint, but some. Dark elf warriors make up my troop selection, with appropriate dark eldar weapons. Still haven't come up with what I'll do for blasters yet, but I will eventually.
