Hello Warseer, so a few years ago I took advantage of the fact I was leaving GW and decided on some all metal purchases while the wallet sting wasnt going to be too bad.
One of which was a Praetorian Guard army which I have painted bits and pieces of but have finally resolved to try and get finished.

At any rate its good old infantry and a list of what I want to get done first.
The light has been terrible whenever I have remembered to take some photos, so the first few arnt great but I shall endeavour to get some better ones and some WIP shots of what I'm working on at the moment soon.

As will become apparant I've stolen inspiration from as many Praetorian logs and blogs as I could find- notably Col. Gravis- and I heartilly recommend having a search around for some of the awesome stuff thats out there.

Anyway on to the glorious Praetorian XVIII!

Nice Army, I have always wished I'd got Praetorians when I had the chance.

Do you have any plans for tanks?

Ah Tanks! Yes, I'd forgotten them. Certainly a Punisher commanded by a Praetorian Pask and perhaps a Basilisk, maybe a smattering of sentinels, but we shall see.

A nearly completed MkII "Gravis" Pattern Heavy Bolter, another five of these to get done now! Needing a couple of touch ups it seems...


A couple of simple Sgt conversions to make up for the fact that GW only ever made two.

It's a mousepad not a piece of wood and the text is very clear, so I might be pointing out the wrong thing to you. There is a picture of a man being mauled by a lion, I don't know the artist.

They have become a real pain to get ahold of now, I'm glad I grabbed up most of the army when I did. Occasionally there is a good ebay deal you can pick up though.

Ok, not quite a weekend update, but close!

A couple of slightly better photos of bits I showed last time and a WIP Lascannon awaiting its two buddies.







Another Heavy Bolter is nearly done and the other two lascannons are on the way too, then it's either back to Clayton's platoon or on to missile launchers, maybe autocannons
