Here`s a combined WiP / PiP of the last three players for the starting roster:

Got the last designated catcher among the hobgoblins here, he turned out pretty nice. The one-eyed helmet blocker got a set of horns, a lot happier with him now! The large spike he had was given to the last blocker who fits it better.

I thought I`d add a better pic of the minotaur:

Quite like the look so far, just hope I can paint him up decently!

Thanks mate I don`t know about professional but I`ve done my (current) best at least

I think that the mino will be next in line as I plan on buying the apotechary and then the mino as my starting investments for the team in the league. In my experience it pays of getting the mino in play quite early so you can develop him properly.

The apo, trainer, etc look also very promisingl. I really like your sculpted beards armour and other stuff.
The only mini I don't like that much is the Centaur. It is not bad but the body of the horse looks somehow too thin to bear the big ogre body, but I also could not think of anything to use instead.

Those are great. I love the one you've used in your profile picture, he's got so much movement and anger. I imagine Chaos Dwarfs are all horribly angry people, especially when it comes to sport.

As loads of people have commented, your re-roll marker is so brilliant! I've no idea where you got the idea from, but I can see a lot of these popping up from now on,

I like your Goblin team, too, the chainsaw special weapon is very nicely pulled off (hacked off? hacked up?).

Had my first game yesterday against a Chaos Pact team with the same rating as me. He has gone a very high risk route by starting with all of the three big guys and few re-rolls, and it paid off for him. That combined with me rolling double-skulls when blocking (at least 5 times) ended with two players with "miss next" and one blocker killed...kinda stumped if I`ll use the winnings to buy back a blocker or an apotechary.

Ah well, work will continue with the team!

You should get some warpstone-charged dice, it'll be very in keeping with the Chaos Dwarfs.

Right arm is magnetised, other than that it needs a lot more work, lol!

That's a brilliant team you've made, nicely done indeed. I like the bare-headed blocker a lot, and the bull centaur has come out great too.

I'd buy the apoth if I was in your shoes, its tempting not to but will save you cash in the long run.

You've made a nice start on those two big guys too. If you are not too far down the line, I'd consider taking a little bit of length out of the torso - the waist looks a little too long at the moment. The outline looks good though, proportions look good to me!

Hey!

Changed this log into a general BB log as there will be more than just a Chaos Dwarf team I can also promise more updates, one of the kids has had his birthday so we`ve been busy with that naturally

In #1 I`ve now added an index since this log has grown into three pages already and consists of a lot of small updates.

Haven`t been idle even if there`s not been any updates for a few days. I`ve been preparing one of the pitches for the Dungeonbowl Cup we`re arranging in early may.
This is what I`ve done so far:




The Juggernauts team is in there for scale. Walls are three inches tall, each tile is 1,2 inches. Still have two sections that needs a bit more work before I roof the open-topped wall sections, add teleporters, chests, detailing and some gravel here and there.

Here`s some pics:

The Legacy Minotaur has got a bit more work done on the lower body and start of body armour. Got myself some clay shapers and they`re brilliant!

On to the DB pitch:


Think I should call it "The Maze" as it really is shaping up into one! I built chests where the lid can be taken off, teleporter pads and some other odds and ends. Oh and roofed the wall sections and filled gaps. The Ref has printed out some BB signs with commercials so the only thing remaining is making boards for those before painting starts. Will be easier to show off things then.

Oh and just to show I haven`t forgotten about my CD team:

The apotechary, man I love those clay-shapers!
