A great looking assault sergeant!

What loadout are you going for with your assault squad?

Thanks fella, a little unsure on squad loadout at the moment actually as i originally planned to take a power sword & metabombs on the sergeant, but i couldn't not use the gorgeous power fist i had, so the plan has kind of gone out the window. Thinking i'll probably keep them standard with a flamer maybe? any advice?

Landspeeder Squadron

Under the command of Captain Vallarn the 5th Battle Company predominately favours mechanised warfare, Vallarn favours having his assault squads mounted in Land speeders for support, more often than not providing a tank hunting role.

I'm extremely new around here, but I've been dabbling in painting space marines for a number of years. I'm starting a new army of Imperial Fists, specifically the 5th co., and I stumbled upon this link. I really admire the details you've put into your work.
So, here's my question if you don't mind: Where can I find info regarding authentic squad & campaign markings for Imperial Fists? I'm sure I could find this in the "How to Paint Space Marines" book, but is there a decent site?

Thank you, its nice to know the little details don't go un-noticed. The black library print on demand book 'Insignium Astartes' is your friend, aesthetically it looks a little dated now but its accurate and a great resource for squad markings, shoulder pad variations and the like.

Update: 1500pts Army

As promised here is a shot of the finished 1500pts army, there will be more units in the near future, i want to do some terminators and a land raider amongst other things, not mention finish the assault squad i've started.

I've said it before, but here it goes again - very very very nice work mate, very nice indeed. Its great to see a 'normal' marine army get so much love and to have focus on the basics in terms of army choice. I really like the chioce of a mustardy yellow as well, very nice grim feel to them while still keeping the edge of nobility and pride that Fists should have.

Great army, great log. For some reason I've always liked chapters with Rogal Dorn as the primogenitor (strange then that my own chapter comes from Corax)
