Under the command of Captain Vallarn the 5th Battle Company predominately favours mechanised warfare, Vallarn favours having his assault squads mounted in Land speeders for support, more often than not providing a tank hunting role.
I'm extremely new around here, but I've been dabbling in painting space marines for a number of years. I'm starting a new army of Imperial Fists, specifically the 5th co., and I stumbled upon this link. I really admire the details you've put into your work.
So, here's my question if you don't mind: Where can I find info regarding authentic squad & campaign markings for Imperial Fists? I'm sure I could find this in the "How to Paint Space Marines" book, but is there a decent site?
Speeders are looking good Petay! Could it be time for an updated army shot? Pretty please?
Lovely speeders, your bases really bring out the yellow armour, I didn't notice it until now with the speeders but its true of all the models.

Eldar - 2/2/1.
Dark Angels - 5/2/1.
Chaos - 1/0/0.
Insignium Astartes' is your friend, aesthetically it looks a little dated now but its accurate and a great resource for squad markings, shoulder pad variations and the like.
Thanks againt everyone for the support, update to follow...
Update: 1500pts Army
As promised here is a shot of the finished 1500pts army, there will be more units in the near future, i want to do some terminators and a land raider amongst other things, not mention finish the assault squad i've started.
Apologies, its not the best photograph, but you get the idea!
I've said it before, but here it goes again - very very very nice work mate, very nice indeed. Its great to see a 'normal' marine army get so much love and to have focus on the basics in terms of army choice. I really like the chioce of a mustardy yellow as well, very nice grim feel to them while still keeping the edge of nobility and pride that Fists should have.
I have to agree, that is exactly what a space marine army should look like.
Imperial Guard Project Log including scratchbuilt salamander.
Force looks great, it's really inspiring to see them all together like that. It itches so bad for me to start my own Astartes army
Project log. Imperial Guard. Now with more pictures!

Minor convertions. Dirty, urban themed army based on the 13th Black Crusade.
The army is looking AWESOME! wish my marines looked this good. Totally awesome work dude!
Remember; Smoke is bad for your health!
Very nice Petay, top notch job!
Great army, great log. For some reason I've always liked chapters with Rogal Dorn as the primogenitor (strange then that my own chapter comes from Corax)
Anyways nice army, also looking out towards your red scorps, keep 'em coming
Proud enough for you to call me arrogant. Cruel enough for me to feel no grief.
Dirty enough for me to lust, leaving nothing left to trust.
Jealous enough to still feel envious. Lazy enough to sleep all day. And let my life just waste away.
Selfish enough to make you wait for me!
