Well, first things first, CONGRATULATIONS on surviving this harsh world to the ripe old age of 35 ... as a 38 years old relic myself, I know where you come from (also started collection GW models in my teens, but a bit later than you).

16K points of greenies against everything the enemy can muster is epic indeed !

It was an amazing day and when I recharge my batteries (mental, physical, camera!) I'll put the pics up and do a small story - but for now some of the most epic things I remember from today...

- Leading the 33 Boar Boyz into the flank of a Gor horde only to be flanked by Dwarf Ironbreakers minutes later!
- Seeing my Giant die and fall over onto the unit that killed him - killing ALL NINETEEN MODELS, leaving just the Plague Priest alive on his own!
- Ambushing any unit that entered one of the 3 forests turn one with either Spider Riders or my Arachnarok Spider!
- Bringing on my cavalry and chariot reinforcements mid-game from all 4 table edges!
- Seeing Big Jobz (Now a Warboss!) lead SIXTEEN Squig Hoppers to glory...and at the same time death!
- Having the Last Legion, bulked up to 85 models, being charged by a horde unit of Iron Guts 3 deep!!!
- Seeing the looks on peoples faces when I'd randomly single out ONE unit a turn in line of sight to ALL my War-machines! (8 Chukkas, 2 lobbas, 2 Doom Divers!)
- Seeing over 2000 models on the table top today!!!!!!

Im not sure if I have said this before but it seems more appropriate to say it in this thread, im jealous. Im jealous of the vast selection and choice an all goblin army has over say...an all skink army. Despite this I still have fond memories of the first wfb models I ever painted which were crude metal goblins.

hey guys - how do we add pictures?! I want to do my bday report - but I went to attachments and insert image - even though it takes me to a new window there is no files for me to physically grab! What's going on!

Uh, well, either you upload them to WarSeer, selecting the files in that windows from your computer, or you upload them on a website (like Photobucket for example), and then use [IMG] tags to embed them in the post ...

EDIT : oh, nevermind, [IMG] tags are disabled in this section of WarSeer ... so only as attachments then ...

Well, you gotta look on that page (opens after you click "manage attachements, option's only available if you "go advanced" when you post), there's a button "add files" (with a + in a green circle), then browse, then you pick your files. Ah, old people and technology

Well there we go! 1st one is my mate Genna who made cookies for us - including a special Waaagh cookie for me! There's a random pic of the tables, one of the castle - and a birdseye view of when the Ogre Iron Gut horde slammed into my Gobbos!!!!

I've also got a pic of my fab Squig Cake! Not a 3D cake but still looked amazing and tasted yummy! (And not bad for $30 CAD!)!!

THREE ORC WARBOSSES!!!

That unit alone was just over 1300 points!!! And it was a glorious unit that ended up destroying the Beastmen and Dwarves who were trying to break my flank and scale the walls on the Western table edge!!

Other pics include more snaps of the battle itself - just trying to get an idea of the scale is hard in the pics - I did make a short video but not sure if that kind of thing is viewable in Warseer - it took me THIS long to work out how to upload pictures!

I wore red shoes that day as it helped me to roll my dice fasta!!

And there is a pic were you see Brets hitting home on two sides, my spiders on the other while being counter charged by Beastmen! It was a messy, messy battle with many a foe dying in droves on either side! Combat results were counted by the 10's - and a winner would normally win a combat by a stupidly high number - like when I beat the ogres by over THIRTY WOUNDS in a single round of combat!!

And some MORE pics!!! The red poster is actually a birthday card my wife made for me - and all me mates signed the back! The poster was also made by her - she took and printed some of my memorable moments in the hobby as a Greenskin and made a cool poster that was stuck onto the GW door.

There's a few more random pics of in-game moments - and the bestest pic is of me and the Wife (and me mate Mitch in the background!) - she helped make the day an awesome one - she surprised me with the cake, the poster, the card - I can't believe what an amazing job she did!

And I was able to get a TWENTY FOUR THOUSAND POINT GAME started AND completed from 12:30pm to 4pm!!!!

It was exhausting, it was exhilarating, it was FUN!
