    Samurai Minis

me being a huge fan of samurai, was just wondering if there were any websites that sold Samurai miniatures. I love samurai and have always wanted to make myself an IG army that used doctrines to give me samurai. Does any know where I might find some? Help please.

I have Shinmen Reiko, and shes a really nice model. The swords are nice too, as they look just right. Not thick or bulky at all. I've just got to finish painting her one of these days.

Mind you, they might not be what your looking for in terms of an IG army, but they are fairly decent minis none the less.

theyre prety nice, but the urban war vasa models have a lot more of a sci-fi feel to them. i.e theres a lot less work to do to them

A stupid, but clever thought (at least in my opinion). Using bug rules, no conversions need to be done at all. Then all is completed and I gots futuristic samurai, but none of it will be historically accurate. It's fine! yay!

Those minis are so god damned cool!

The L5R mini game has Samurai all over the place. Will take some converting though.

    Re: Samurai Minis

you could field the samurai as IG with warrior weapons maybe. or veterans with hand weapons.
the sexy kabuki doll models could be used to represent assasins, and the leaders could be used as officers without too much work.

Or since all I do is play friendly games w/ peeps, I could make up rules for a samurai only army. Never know. Would be so much fun!

I'm really digging those Dragonfly minis- Looks like drop troops to me!! The Triad Retainers could be used as is for troops really. Nice thought.

    .
Fujiko can get a critical hit on me any time

    Edit:

The Dragonfly figures make good alternatives to Seraphim.

The Triad Boss , give him pointy ears and he's a good Warlock or a Farseer.

Sumatori are great for Nurgle's finest.

Some cool minitures there. My favorites have got to be:

    The one on the right.

The guy with the sword third from the right.
