As promised (for once!) some wip shots of my orks- these are part of the first 10 ork mob that I'm painting at the moment. Washes and various details still to be done!

I'll give advice: Use devlan mud wash to that metal, makes it look more 'orky' and dirty, Just like the orks like metalsOr if you don't have dev mud, then wash it with watered down brown. Keep 'em up!

yeah last night I gave all the metal some badab black wash, next is going to be delvan mud over the metals and clothes

Orks look good. I usuallbuse like 3 washes of badab to make the metal look real non shiny. Hate shiny weapons I do
A quick little update: washes done, on to highlights and details me thinks!
Update:
1st 10 boy mob finished, cept for basing. I'll probably go with snow bases similar to my Dark Angels, and will do my usual "wait till everything is painted before basing anything"

Nurgle has seen fit to bless me with a nasty cold so haven't gotten much painting done, just base coat and first wash on my 3 deffkopta's. Hopefully I'll be feeling more like painting soon!

Finish my Orks 1500pts
Start working on my Imperial Guard
Start small Dark Eldar force between Imperial Guard Units
Catch up on the Horus Heresy series- currently read up to Descent of Angels so quite a few to read to bring me up to date!!!
Should get some painting done tomorrow, and hope to go scavenging for conversion potential in the sales tomorrow as well!

Non-picture update:
Managed to get 10 more Ork boyz and 5 Nobz under-coated and skin base coated before I went and visited my family for a few days, hopefully get some more painting done tomorrow now that I am back in snowy Edinburgh!
Finally an update!
Have been painting my way through another 10 boyz, pics up in a couple of days hopefully once the details are finished. In between coats I've also been working on my warboss and a Waaagh Banner:
Hope to get these guys along with the rest of my Nobz undercoated tonight and then start painting them over the course of the next few days!
