Well I've been toying around with various ideas for my second army to accompany the storyline between my own army (O/G) and my best friend's (Brets). The essential part is that it has to be around the Gisoreaux Gap on the side of the marshes. Basically it comes down to two options: The Brotherhood of Eternal Night and/or the Frost Legion of Hektar Saull.

The Brotherhood of Eternal Night will be an army build almost exclusively with the militia boxed set and will use Empire rules (mainly 2 blocks of swords men, detachments of militia and 2 units of musketmen as well as pistoliers (using the Mordheim highwayman as a basis), archers and huntsmen, and Bloodlust Martyrs (flagellants). It won't have any heavy cavalry or artillery, however and it'll have to be a fast moving army. They will be painted with cold, but dark colours.

The fluff (sorry kitty) behind the Brotherhood is that they are a gathering of believers and cronies of a corrupt Burgomeister out on the western fringes of the Empire just outside the political borders of Nordland by the marshes. The Burgomeister had long ago been bought off by Hektar Saull with promises of power and wealth, etc. They army is basically a bandit army at 2500 points.

The Frost Legion of Hektar Saull is the undead army of a great necromancer (using Necrarch rules) built around a core of large units of grave guard and skeletons...once again to 2500 points. Obviously Hektar Saull has some diabolic plan up his sleeve but you get the gist of it.

So....which one do you guys like better?
