    Re: Port Maw problems

I get in the mood to try and get back into Gothic and the first thing I thought was...lets go to PortMaw and see what's been going on in the world of BFG rules modifications/balancing.

The site being down was a surprise, and now I've looked about for the cause and ended up here I am really sad to hear what's happened.

I'm afraid some people don't like losing arguments and try to take their revenge in small minded ways .

See it the good way: This would be analogically with the treachery 40k conflict of order and disorder

I don't know if he ( I really don't think it was a she ) was a member , but they apparently did have a 'blazing row' with a member .
It was mentioned to me an old school mate - who is probably one of the UK's top benign hackers - who stated that the person responsible 'was being nob' all over the net . I just hope they've grown out of it .

So it's been a HELL of a long time... and don't mean to pester, but is it ever going to be recovered?

    I do not think so.

Fleet Captain Roak. There was not a blazing row with any port maw member at the time of going down.

Its a shame about Port Maw, I miss the community. I also have no way to re-contact Warmaster Goya, we used to have great BFG games, even if I wasn't very good :P
