Terrain from Russia. (*sorry for my English)))

Good day, guys! My name is Arny, I live in Russia in the city of Ekaterinburg.
I made terrain for several years. I looked at the WarSeer forum's works and I am very-very impressed!!! There are a lot of stunning work!
I want to show you my models of terrain. May be it can be a bit simple and straightforward in comparison with your's models)
Unfortunately it is very difficult to get balsa, plastic and HirstArtsMoulds in Russia. So I use styrofoam, cardboard and wooden sticks.

1. Small ruined tavern (or may be not a tavern))


2. Small villiage house


3. Chapel ruins


4. Ruined castle

p.s. want to ask you something: I often see that you use the plaster for casting. Is it durable? Plaster crumbles much isn't it? Or you used some sort of very hard plaster?

Welcome to warseer,
Your stuff is amazing, With your skill you don't need hurst arts stuff!
If its not supported its not very durable.
When I built my rock wall

I use a wooden back and base with layer's of plaster impregnated cloth for support scattered throughout.

Thanks for your answer!) So, if i want to mold some objects (walls for example) it will be better to do using resin , not plaster?

Unknown but from what I've seen resin is stronger.

Great stuff, it would be a ton of fun to play with any of those pieces on the table top.

If you are interested in Hirst Arts stuff I can give it a strong recommendation. You are correct, plaster is less strong then resin, but it's much easier to work with. I cast all my Hirst blocks using a plaster I find at Home Depot (a home store in the states) and it works great

Yes, i try to mold it in silicon rubber and then cast in resin.

Smth like that (up-original wall of penopolystirol, down-resin casting copy)

It is commonly called Plaster of Paris here in the US.
I use dental plaster myself, which is Plaster of Paris with a little cement mix into it for added strength.
This type of plaster is very hard to break.
Dental plaster can be hard to find, but I have considered making it myself.
You can add 10 to 20 percent cement to Plaster of Paris to get a very similar product.
