    My totally hip Necromunda Log

Ok, so I rumaged around and managed to find some unpainted Necromunda stuff that I'm keen to play again at the appropriate juncture. I've already done two Van Saar Juves and hope the pics come out.
    Finished this feller yesterday

The two juves together (Tomkinson and Tadger)

What I still have to do. Actually there are 9 Goliaths as well.

Looking good, nice and stealthy van saars! You'll have a nice looking gang by the time they are all like that. Good stuff.

Well I'm thinking of doing a bit more work on the first juve I did... but I'm happy with them otherwise. Thanks for the comment.

Not bad, not bad. But I suggest making the pupils of the 2nd Juve a little bigger, he looks like he's on something. Then again, it could just be the smells in the Hyve.

Yeah, I'm definately going to do something about that. My mate thought he looked as scared as a BS2 Juve with a laspistol should be...

I like the suit colour, and the hair looks quite good. My real criticism is the bases - I'm sure there's no grass in the Underhive!

How have you painted that laspistol, the shading is very nice?

Very good faces and I like the dark skin suits, excellent work! It's hard to make such dark colours look good, I approve

Well I'm not liking this model tbh. But yeah he does a bit. I also made him a bit buck toothed.

Well there is grass like stuff I think. My gang's come across a large stash of Icrotic slime.

Yeah you can't have everything with these models mate. I wouldnt worry about it. Fits the 'atmosphere' of the Underhive being a stressful place.

You sure that 'grass like stuff' aint wild fungus?

Not really sure but to tell the truth I might try and use these guys in 40k as smugglers or the like with my IG. It may be hard for me to use these guys in a proper necro campaign because I'm in country West Aus

Only game evey couple of months or so. Usually 40k. Hope to move back to the big city 2011 or 2012

Rad-grass: As with all things nature has its way of survival. Rad-grass can be found in small clumps in parts of the underhive that were once lush and full of nutrients. The grass now gains its energy from the radioactive material that is scattered around. It can't take it in directly and so filters it out of the air. At night or in dark places the grass has been known to glow.

Some ratskin initiation rituals require the unfortunate young brave to injest vast quantaties of rad-grass. They are then believed to visit their ancestors. The ritual tends to end with the brave unconcious and flourescent green ooze dripping from their nose . . . . . the whitchdocter then gives them a concoction of different things that help flush the grass from their system incase evil spirits take advantage of their vulnerable soul.

Your welcome! I hope to do more this weekend. Had a bout of illness last weekend and that more or less put me off completing any models.
