The mighty Mechanicus ! Scratch- built Lucius pattern Reaver Titan

I Decided to build my own Lucius pattern Reaver, mainly because SDKFZ has made a brilliant Lucius reaver that really have inspired me. It is mainly built out of plasticard and bits, and stands about 40-41 cm from feet to back. I have been working on it for almost two weeks now, and it is an absolute joy. Well plenty more to come, feel free to ask about anything regarding the project (or my other projects if you really insists)

Have you considered what weapons it'll have yet? Any previews?

Yeah I've been working on it pretty intensely :P
No I have an idea about maybe doing a melta weapon like the one for the FW model and maybe some plasma weapon as they are always cool, but no previews yet

Thanks guys, I know that many people dislike the Lucius patterns but I think they have a great charm to them, and the forgeworld Lucius reaver for epic is awesome I think. And and, the lack of curved armour plates of course makes it a bit more straight forward to build :P

Amazing work, glorious princeps and inner GUBBINZ.

However, it is way too squat. I must post this, I feel it is far too spread legged.
I really hope that you decide to take another look at the pictures you took of the legs. If you brings the legs together similar to older Reavers/ Warlords it will look a lot better, IMO.

It's looking wonderful... I just think its a little out of scale. The legs look great but too squat. Without rebuilding the entire thing, which I'm not recommending, because it looks incredible as is. Maybe putting a spacer at the waist between the groin and the torso? It'll make it a bit taller, but slightly more in proportion.

Other than that criticism though, it looks awesome

Well I quite like the broad stance of the model (why I choose to make it like that) but I have noticed the groin problem myself, and I think it can be fixed relatively easy. I was trying to aim at the 40 cm height of the FW model, but since it will have a carrapace mounted weapon I'm sure I can cross this height limit by a couple of cm without it being noticed :P Hope to have a pic update soon, but I'm currently painting my knight and have to finish him before 1st of April.
