You could further play off of this by using one of the less common carapace weapons, such as a Plasma Blastgun or Vulcan Megabolter on the top Carapace. The Missile Pod is pretty classic, but that's what magnets are for

Haha guess so, but haven't done any progress due to painting my knight, so you have to suggest a part of the model you would like to have a closer look at or wait till the start of April for some news ;D

Definately crossed my mind to NOT take the apoc launcher and do a plasma blastgun instead.

Looking really good, the detail is top notch at the moment as well. Have you been producing any templates whilst building this beastie? Also roughly how many hours would you say you have spent on it, saying that how long did it take to do the cockpit? As not detailing the interior could save a fair bit of time, although it is worth the effort.

Well the overall build time on to this point is one and a half week, but that said I have been using many night hours better spent sleeping on it :P
Yeah I've made some templates for some of the parts, but not them all, although these are made irl in thin cardboard, if I get around to actually making them digital I will share them with whoever want them

Actually there are no bent plasticard on the head, it is many pieces put together and then sanded to avoid the sharp edges

The head is based on the landspeeder storm, and then it is mostly cities of death building parts

I love where this is going, I always liked Lucius Pattern titans more than Mars pattern, very nice!

I also have to give props to how it's looking to be scale appropriate, most people tend to build titans far too large, especially Warlords. But he's looking to be about the height he should be.

Thanks, I have used the height of FW's reaver as a reference for the scale, and it is about 40 cm in height. I must say I wanted my now scrapped warlord to be much taller than it should be, but if I ever attempt a new one it will be a little smaller

It's completely scratch-built I might make templates for it later on, but for now I'll just be building, and on top I have two commissioned Warhounds standing on my desk that need paint

Hm strange, that I´ve missed this thread. Nice build. Cos this one is on my list too. I´m working on Lucius Pattern Warlord, but no pictures yet. This is why I started to work on Adeptus Mechanicus Forces, to have something fluffy for Titan. Then I will see if I make some Warhounds or Reaver in same pattern.

When I have something to show, I will put it on warseer. Adeptus Mechanicus Forces are only scratchbuilded no CGI yet. I don´t have matter printer near my hands at the moment.

Unfortunately I haven't done that much work on it for a while now because I took the twin warhound commission, but I'll get back to it soon. Height wise it's 40 cm tall so far, this is without the carapace mounted weapon. So they should match pretty well in height if I remember correctly. I can also partially thank you for the speed of the build as I studied your plog intensely before starting
I still have no clue on what to arm this bad boy with, all I know is that there under no circumstances will be a missile launcher on the top. And if anyone has fluff or picture material regarding Legio Ignatum I would like to know
