Didn't paint anything as I was busy with work (real life kicking in). I finished some reviews for two different producers for 20mm middle eastern tabletop terrain. (--> blog)
I just found this thread last night and have to say that I am thoroughly impressed. I love your miniature work, and have since downloaded the quick start scenario for Ambush Alley and am reading through it. it looks fast and fun and can't wait to try it out.
And not for the last time, you will hear this. I blame you. Now that you got me interested, I have to sell off my Fantasy Stuff and WW2 stuff so I can afford to get those beautiful Empress US Army Miniatures. ):
The rules though after reading from the downloaded copy are good. I like the thinking of how two unevenly balanced armies battle off. Although I do blame you for this explosive spending thats going to happen soon, I also have to thank you for introducing me to a rule set that good.
Now about your work. Lets not talk about it shall we? Makes me sad that I can't match your standards.
Cheers!

Thanks! Don't miss my actual blog.
It contains way more than I show over here. It also offers a lot of new releases for gaming in 20mm, has a long list of weblinks to certain things and also offers exclusive previews into forthcoming books for Force On Force. (see signature)
@Calvin: if you are planning on 28mm figures be warned: nothing in my blog shows that scale. You will end up not finding many things others who play in smaller sizes can get easily on the table!

Yes sir, been through that, its just the Empress Miniatures are too gorgeous to give up ): What really got me into this was how you put together the battle reports and how you kept giving love to the rules. 28mm a scale built for hardcore, insane gamers, but its a risk I need to take XD

Hello my dear friends: Work kept me busy during the week, but I got off yesterday and today, so I was able to finish the missing tank turrets for both Abrams.
I have received a lot of feedback and comments that my vehicles seem to be too clean for frontline armour. Well, alright - you guys have a point. I got myself the Tamiya weathering sets and had a go on the turrets.
Please note that I haven't applied any matt varnish yet, so a lot of the powder will disappear underneath a coat of the latter. I also took the pics with "macro" on my camera, so the weathering might look a bit crude - in reality it is looking way better.![]()
Tell me what you think.

Looking good!
Love your attention to detail!
Looking good, Veritas. That work on the stowage really add a lot to the look of the miniatures, I'll defintly have to do the same when I get started on my vehicles for Force on Force.

Veritas did you ever paint any British infantry? I've never seen any, wonder how the L85's look that scale =)

@gogs78 and mdauben: Thanks. I will try to increase production rates on my little tank forces.
@alphachicken: Sorry, no British miniatures in my collection. But Piers obviously has some![]()
Some love for my Iraqi army.
The ZPU-4 is a towed, quadruple-barreled anti-aircraft gun based on the Soviet KPV 14.5 mm machine gun.
This 20mm model is made by RH Liberation. Not the best kit Rolf produces, but it will do once painted.

Amazing, can tell you work around Military equipment IRL.
You are unique, just like everybody else.
-from some T-shirt slogan I saw.
Could actually be the case
Might be able to finish the ZPU-4 this weekend.
Got some more tools to unleash (some of them indirect firing) hell for different factions:
M120 (120mm mortar)
M252 (81mm mortar)
BGM-71 TOW (M220 variant) launcher on tripod dismounted
SPG-9 73mm recoilless rifle
Type 63 Multiple Rocket Launcher
all of them with crew. I will be busy for quite some time.![]()
